What do you like about your game?
It was a very fun puzzle to create levels for the game. I also like the cool background effect I made completely by accident :)

Interesting concept - I liked it! I managed to solve most of the puzzle, but I still wasn't entirely sure what was actually going on underneath :)

Great job!

Holy moly! What a game! This is a really unique mechanic that I've never seen before! I really enjoyed playing it! The puzzles were challenging and I still can't wrap my head around how I managed to solve some of the levels.

Very well done!

Just played your game again...DAMN!! I hope you win haha

Love your game, just so original

This is an absolutely fantastic puzzle. The mechanics look very original to me. I am stuck on level 7 so far. I pushed the second ball back through the yellow ‘reality,’ but the other kept me puzzled.

Thank you for playing. I'm happy to see that people appreciate the game's mechanics. If you're curious, I put a video with the solutions for every main levels on the itch page.

A puzzle game, quite creative, the only bad thing is that turning and moving feels a bit rough, but otherwise 10/10

Interesting concept. A bit confusing, as it is not completely obvious when will which parts of the map be yellow and when blue, but besides that, nicely done. :)

"The game has a very polished and original style. Although I'm not a fan of puzzle games, I can appreciate the effort that you've put into it. Well done! However, there is a small bug where pressing space on the information page leads to a blank screen, and the only way out is to restart the game. Aside from that, it's a great job! I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5."

This is such an original idea!!

The game has a lot of winner potential in my opinion because it really has it all: the idea is really original (never seen something like it) the music fits perfectly with the aesthetic of the game and honestly, I have no idea of how you managed to achieve such shifting system, could you give me a hint or something? It's AWESOME

Also, the background looks amazing, and you say that was created by accident? Cool!! haha those accidents are the best :)

I couldn't finish it though, this level was just too much for me haha

Thank you for playing. I'm glad you liked the game :)

I'm really proud of the shifting mechanics, even though I wish I would have explained them better to the player. The code behind it is pretty messy. It's a bunch of if statements checking the last turn of the player and its orientation to decide what tiles should appear or disappear. I made a smooth transition using a mask to hide the tiles when they are behind the player.

You got pretty far into the game. Many people couldn't pass the first 4 levels. Well done!

I'm not proud of my failure haha

I spent like 10 minutes there trying to figure it out :(

I really mean it when I say this is winner material! I hope you make more levels and release the game (maybe for mobile?) I want my revenge 😎✨

Beautiful game, I was not smart enough to pass level 2, but it looks amazing!

I like the idea and the aesthetic is nice! Can be quite challenging initially as you don't understand the shifting mechanic very well. Do love the background though!

Very neat game: everything is very well crafter.

The game is progressive but you might need to add some information in the game so players can understand better the tricks of your game (I feel a bit stuck time to time)

congrats for your game!

I love the aesthetic and thematic feel of the game, you definitely succeeded on your goal to make it dreamy! At first I thought I understood the mechanics but later on I realized I didn't, and I was having trouble understanding how everything works even after reading your itch page. I ended up just sort of pressing buttons and guessing my way through, which sucked a little bit.

Props for adding skip level button and level select screen, I feel like these should be mandatory for game jam puzzle games it was so useful! I feel bad for not understanding the core mechanic, it clearly had much effort and thought go into it.

If you're confused, I've just added a tutorial and full playthrough video to the itch page. Understanding the mechanics was supposed to be part of the experience, but I don't want you to get frustrated playing my game :)

This was pretty interesting! Definitely could have used a tutorial, though, I was very confused about the whole switching levels thing. I think I somewhat understood it, but an explicit tutorial would have been much appreciated :)

Very polished and the mechanic is definitely original. However, it definitely confused me I feel like the game would have benefited from it being explained more, or some simple levels where the player can work out what it does. Although I was able to figure it out eventually, and it actually makes you think a lot.

Developer

I was thinking that levels 1 and 2 were enough to move around and understand the base mechanic. I even thought that level 1 to level 10 was a sort of tutorial! But you're right, I should have explained the mechanics to the player more explicitly. Or maybe not, the feeling of being lost and trying to understand on your own  fits the narrative of the game ;)

That was a fun puzzle game! I only half understood what was going on for the first 5 or so levels. I actually didn't notice the compass in the bottom left until that point. Once I saw that it made a lot more sense.

My only idea of how to improve this would be to allow holding down the movement buttons to prevent carpel tunnel/ pain from repeated motion.

Great game!

i really liked it. i made it to level 4 i think. then i had no clue how to continue after that

Neat puzzle game!

Core mechanic is very interesting and original. I kind of understood how it worked intuitively, although I got stuck on Level 11 in the end. Controls are well thought out, I found it easy to put my plans into motion.

Presentation is very nice, really liked the background effect you created. Could maybe do with a couple of Sound Effects, although the music does create a nice vibe.

Overall, very strong submission. Good job!
