Now this is special. Combo systems are always fun and the soundtrack really pairs well with the fast paced gameplay here. This is one those games where you can really see the vision and passion behind it, and I could easily imagine this developing into a full release.
Gameplay is S-tier and I really wish there was more to play because I could literally go for hours here. You did an amazing job and should be very proud!

i really liked it, the combat system is super cool, i just wish it was longer. maybe a full release is the future of redline express, i could see it
I am not super into the beat em up genre but the mechanics that are implemented to dodge and combo are smooth and satisfying. I think it is difficult to juggle all the mechanics but again I might just be a small brained non-fighting game player so I cant hold it against you.
The graphics and music compliment the fast paced environment well and are excellently made.

One issue I have is just that there are so many inputs I just end up completely stop using some, even if the game tries to make you use them
For example, you can dodge enemies by using both the jump and the dash, but you actually get hit sometimes with the dash, so I just didn't bother using it anymore
Maybe unlocking abilities with time could have been great, but I understand it wasn't really possible with the limitations of the jam and the length of the game

Very fun game! I didn't played the tutorial at first so I didn't know about the dash or grab, but it was still fun! got a C
Fast, snappy and juicy, could have easily played more levels, great mechanics!
Beat it in 2:18 on my second try. I'm not that good at beat 'em ups, but I got the hang of it decently well & had fun. Maybe the regaining of health was a bit too forgiving, but in general I think the balance was good.
The art is great as always, and I love the setting. For some reason games that take place on a moving vehicle just hit different, even though I know that gameplay-wise it makes literally no difference. I also like how you used the tutorial setting to establish some backstory/narrative.
Overall, a great game!
Combo or Die is a pretty cool mechanic! I got stuck a couple of times because I’d grabbed an enemy and they wouldn’t be thrown for some reason.
I wish jump was on SPACE, my mind cannot comprehend that you need press W to jump. Anyway that was fun, solid game.
It is wild just how absolutely FUN this game is. In terms of raw enjoyability for entries this is my current personal #1. Love the pixel art aesthetic mixed with the 3d too. Absolutely phenomenal work!
Fun game, too use to pressing space to jump instead of W, so keep getting hit by non-dodgeable attack XD
Yo! I love beat 'em ups :) -- this was quite fun. I really liked the visual style and juice. The differentiation between dodgeable and non-dodgeable attacks felt underutilized (and since the symbol was "!" for both, I had a hard time making the split second decision to dodge vs jump - I'd suggest changing that symbol at least), so I ended up jumping everything. If dodge gave a slow-mo mode or something that would incentivize more of a variation between jumping/dodging. Fun submission though, nice work :)
