- Love the minimalist aesthetic and design. Was really interesting navigating the space. My only complaint is the performance was real rough at times.
What do you like about your game?
I really like how the movement physics turned out, the cube-sphere blending feels great!

I enjoyed so much the visuals, had fun with the physics, and even tho the gameplay is simple I really enjoyed it, gave me a lot of vibes of games like Journey which I really like, congrats!
Even though there's not much gameplay, this is a graphical masterpiece, would recommend
Great!
Woah I was not expecting to see a raymarched game! I avoided doing realtime raymarched graphics myself because of the performance cost (though the backgrounds in my game are all my own raymarched shaders - just prerendered)
Really cool to see, even if there’s not much actual gameplay in there.
that was a good call, realtime raymarching gave me a lot of trouble. your game’s backgrounds are really awesome, I’m glad you included links to Shadertoy so I can watch them in all their glory!
thank you! they were very quickly thrown together in a few hours though, i have much more interesting scenes on shadertoy if you look through my profile :)
wow, you have some really cool stuff on there! Monochrome Crystal is my fav so far.
Are you crazy you made raymerached platformer with shadows? What kind of monster is your pc? Bud actually very good game. It even run in 60 fps on lowest settings
thanks! and yeah, I had a lot of trouble with performance, it was a huge limiter for the level design. that’s why I added the graphics settings, especially resolution scale and shadow quality.
Well that was great. The raymarching effect looked awesome (and the game completely demolished my poor computer, so big thanks for including a settings menu. Also wtf how is the settings menu for a jam entry so polished). Very ethereal vibes and lovely tidbits of writing, really nothing more to desire on the presentation and pacing.
I liked the little conundrum the game threw at me when I was at the top of the last level and wasn't sure whether I should jump all the way down and potentially do platforming again or wait for something new to happen. Wish the game patted me on the back immediately after jumping down, would be a nicer "phew!" moment than trying to uncertainly roll away afterwards. Also wished for a little more ending-y ending, even if just a camera zoom out or something. Great job!
welp, I spent a lot of time on the settings to compensate for the horrible performance.
great feedback, I will make the ending more clear in a post-jam update, thank you!
Very cool effect. I like how you use ray marching to manipulate the shape of the cube. I appreciate the quality settings because my laptop couldn't stand your shaders very well. (I had to play in the smallest possible window size)
thanks for playing! but oh, in a tiny window? I hoped the option for 25 % resolution scale would let anyone play fullscreen.
Pretty chill game all up until that last level haha. Def needed checkpoints there or something, other than that great 3d platformer!
I’ll rectify the final level if I make a post-jam update. thank you!
What are those crazy visuals. amazing.
it’s called raymarching, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. thanks!
the part where the cube melts is perfect, also turn shadow quality to 0 in the settings you wont regret it
wow
Very original and athmospheric entry ! Not much of a fan of the last level, but understandable that it's there.
I want to know how the ball shader is made though it looks awesome !
also very fitting music
haha, sorry about that last level!
the shader technique I used is called raymarching, the “ball” uses smooth minimum to change shape — here’s a good resource if you want to learn more: https://iquilezles.org/articles/smin/
and yeah, I was really happy to find that music, I agree it fit really well!
Nice Visuals and good game if it was alil longer it would be perfect , i would be happy if u rated my game
thanks, unfortunately I didn’t have time to make more levels.
and sure, I’ll play and rate your game too! (actually, I’ll try the games of everyone who commented on my game)
That was such an amazing experience. I love the style and the transition of the cube was well executed. Fantastic job
thanks! I spend a lot of time tuning that transition.
Well executed idea, really like the shape morphing effect. I like how you introduced the new mechanics, I really don't have anything to critique, was a pleasant and visually appealing experience all around, I wish it where longer. I found myself excited to discover what the next unexpected mechanic might be.
thank you — I also wish it was longer!
