Wow I think that's a perfect rating from me. Amazing work! I love the granny noises and how the reloading batteries sound is clearly meant for reloading a shotgun, lmao. Would love to play a fixed version once the jam is finished.
Very polished and very fun! It's amazing how much content and detail you were able to pack into this game. The platforming is very fun, and the generous checkpoints are very much appreciated and help keep the pace moving nicely. Excellent work!
Big celeste vibes. Genuinely impressed by the quality and length of this game. I think I got to a point that was unfinished, as it didn't seem to want to let me go any further, but that was deep into the game. Really a great game.
Great platformer! Music was great, sounds were awesome (loved the little granny scream) and the art was really cool, I especially loved the atmosphere opening level with the mansion. Controls felt really unique, yet still familiar, and it was really fun to play as Granny!
You could release this on steam. I cannot believe how many levels there are.
Amazing job! The character and vacuum were humorous, the platforming felt great, level design was awesome and I loved the mechanics of the two vacuum modes. I was impressed with how many levels you made and how great they all were. Excellent work on this, I couldn't stop playing.
I had so much fun with this game. Shame about the bug but I'm not even sure if I could've beaten that part even if it was possible. I guess for transparency I should say that my friend did the level design and art, but trust me when I say I wouldn't hesitate to shit on a game he worked on.
The idea is so fun and interesting, we can totally relate to celeste but the mouse controls are quite different, i was having a blast playing the game i got into the bug where others should have pointed but i want to see all levels in the future
i had a bug too on the 2nd level / 3rd section if i die there i get invisible and had to restart the game
This game has really awesome movement and all the effects are really fun. I wish I were able to get further but there is one section where one of two fans you have to activate is broken and won't let me progress. Really wish I could play the rest of it because what there is before that point was just absolutely brilliant.
I really LOVE this, I had a great fun. That main menu had me crying it's so good.
Props to the voice acting and music. Couldn't be better there. 10/10
There's so much content fit into this! Just when I thought it was the last room there's more. But unfortunately I ran into the known bug with that one fan. Love the art, also the "reloading" sound is really satisfying to listen to. Truly one of the Granny-Likes of all time.
Really great theming, and a fun to play! I did get soft locked a couple of times and had to reset. It happened first at the springs, so post jam you might want to see about that area. Also much later on, I am not sure what level, one of the fans would not turn on no matter how much I blowed on it. It is the section where you drop into a room with a spike square in the middle and have to hit two fans without touching the floor. Game controls felt responsive though and it was enjoyable, dang the duality of the mechanics has me smiling.
absolutely love this, it's fun and engaging. Found a bit of a bug right after you get the push power, in the second room I died but the camera stayed there instead of coming back w me at the respawn, leaving me stuck.
I loved the aesthetics and gameplay of the game; it reminds me a lot of Celeste, but with mouse controls. I missed the game fully embracing the lighthearted concept more. Congratulations
Very hilarious, the menu made me laugh to be honest! Good game, i like the platforming and it felt pretty original. Didn't notice i had a normal jump at first but most likely that's just me ;)
Damn... it just kept going and getting better. I couldnt finish it but I will for sure be back. Really great stuff and very impressive what you got done in 2 weeks.
Sidenote: The main menu gave me a jump scare lol
Very well inspired precision platformer for a game jam game! I was able to play until a point where a fan wouldn't activate to progress.
Thank you! Yes we were very sad to realize that one fan is broken, and such a simple thing to fix.
From the moment the blow mechanic got introduced I knew this was a great game.
Clearly inspired from celeste, this game takes the mechanics further by giving you 360 degrees control. Having such different controls on the left and right mouse buttons makes it really fun to learn the mechanics. I had moments where I wanted to launch myself backwards with left click only to launch myself into spikes. I didn't think that it was the games fault, it really felt like just something fun to learn!
I almost felt bad that I was playing this whole game for free, because the gameplay just keeps going! And the level design is also really well made. There is a clear build up in every mechanic giving you time to learn. At one level I even skipped a part, a skip which was hard to pull of but very satisfying. I love this kind of level design that rewards skill.
Eventually I came to a fan section in level 6 where you fall down and have to activate 2 fans. This doesn't seem to work and I think its because of time restrictions. It didn't really matter because I already had like 10-15 minutes of fun gameplay, but this game just keeps you wanting to play more. I really wanted to see where the mechanics go next and if the challenges would get harder.
Btw, the last few screens I played had a really nice difficulty where I was challenged every screen, mostly with changing my mouse location from front to back, which was really fun.
Thank you so much! We put a lot of thought into the level design, so it means a lot to see that someone really appreciated it!
I just kept thinking "no way it keeps going" and sure enough it did. The movement mechanics of this are so fun and confuse you even if thought you had it. Shame I kinda suck at these games but I'd say I got decently far.
Art is also awesome, amazing game!
I love the menu. Interesting concept!
