Nice entry! Aesthetically very pleasing, and coherent, I love that. I was struggling at first, but quickly noticed how OP parrying is. One shotting everything with ult is so satisfying. Great game!

Fun Game! Love the pixel art/animations, and overall vibe. If you are struggling, level up POWER PER PARRY first. That way you can get to the SHOCK in fewer PARRIES.

Really nice aesthetics, took me a bit to get the hang of parrying and I ended up just spamming right click (i don't think thats the intended way of playing?) It was a fun quick experience overall 😁

The parry was not that intuitive to get right. Maybe something more should happen on the screen to show that you managed to do it correctly.

Managed to beat the game after a few tries, would have like for parries to be a bit clearer, and perhaps to have a bit of invincibility to other attacks after a successful parry? I feel like often I would parry one guy, but then get shot by a mage..

I loveeee the graphics and the feeling of scaling feels so so so good, especially when you wipe out a whole screen of enemies! Love the music as well, it reminds me a lot of Hotline Miami... GREAT WORK!

I love that we both have a parrying mechanic! I love the art style of the game and the animations feel snappy. One of the biggest improvements you could have tho is making the parry timing more clear thru the animations being played. but overall a nice entry

Absolutely fantastic! It's not often you go for another run just to hear the music again. This game was so much fun to play.
Music alone was worth playing for. I love the little flourishes in it whenever you use the ultimate. Gameplay is really addicting, though I couldn't manage to get a win. The staff enemies are tough, I often couldn't tell what I was getting hit by, but I'm pretty sure it was some homing attack they had. I like that the enemies became much more complicated in their attack patterns as the round went on, so I actually had to switch up my parrying tactics to stay alive. Great game!
Music is insane and game was pretty addicting, super enjoyable experience overall :D
The different mechanics all play together really nicely, I liked that a lot. Also liked the art style, though I feel visual clarity of enemy attacks and when to parry them could be better. One of the best of the jam! Vampire Survivors with a parry was a good idea.

thank you so much! that is what i was going for so I am happy you enjoyed it. with more time I would like to make it more like vampire survivors with the upgrade system and the parry screen wipe just being one part of the games powers. I definitely agree about visual clarity of the enemies and will improve on that in the post jam version. Thanks so much for streaming my game!
Enjoyed a lot your art style.
Very solid. I like how you have to manage your power in order to actually kill the baddies. At first I tried just spamming attack and couldn't figure out why I wasn't dealing any damage haha. But once I worked it out, it was really fun!
Very solid presentation, simple yet satisfying gameplay loop, but a bit too easy to spam the parry button I think. Nice game!

the VIBES on this game are so nice! i especially love the colors and music! one thing though, i think the pause menu doesn't actually pause the game for me
