How does your game represent "Power"?
My game uses the word "POWER" and turns it into a card battler. You can spell different words with the letters P,O,W,E,R, and use "Power" cards to augment gameplay.

This was a really great idea for a card game. I had a lot of fun playing against the bot and it was pretty hard. If you were gonna develop this further, it would be cool to see some particle effects/animations to spice up the visuals or the option to play against another person. Great work!

Trencherthis is a really great card game. if expanded with more letters or different "word decks" i guess, this would be amazing and replayable for life. never in my life have i exclaimed "POPE??!!" in anger at a videogame, thank you.

SuperMegaPowerGolf3DI liked the system, but the power cards were confusing at first - the "next hand" being the hand you are currently playing doesn't make much sense. Also, the word list seems quite incomplete, as for example EWE produced only 15 points.
It had some interesting strategy and playing POWER is very intense, especially with the double, but it still quickly fell off as the enemies scaled in health.

InertiaHeck yes.... I was legitimately hoping to find a game like this haha. I love the straight forward-ness of card battlers, the mechanics are so simple but the fast paced nature of these sorts of games keep it fun and the randomized nature of the pulls keeps you on your toes. The AI feels good to compete against too.

Grid LockI freak with the card battler! I really enjoyed how many different words that you could end up making with POWER so it worked out really nicely. The music is a very cool vibe to have looping throughout!

Oh? Baseball!very cool concept, it took me a few minutes to totally understand what was happening, and I'm still not totally clear when the "next hand" cards take effect, does the 2x score affect the combo im doing this turn or next turn? I think with some tuning this could be pretty fun, my only real complaint is it feels kinda bad when the AI causes your hand to do nothing, and I didn't see any indicator to let me know that my hand wouldn't do anything so I lost some fun combos to that :( Overall, nice job making this in a week, this was impressive

lith_ionVery good idea! This was really cool. I had a lot of fun trying to think of every anagram of power I can possible think of, and the inclusion of the alternate hands really adds to the variety. Very tight project, good work!

turn one, i negate your attack with a shield. you begin to panic and tries the classic PWR -10.
turn 2 i draw +2 cards, now he copies my moves but its too late...
turn 3 i smack down the POWER x2 card and you realize the battle was over before you even had a change.
