The game is a bullet hell with an "exchange" of position mechanics for the player's ship. The player can "invert" their position on the map to avoid bullets and dodge attacks.

I love it! Visuals are great, gameplay is fun (bit too hard maybe), music is catchy. Keep going!

Love the aesthetics of this game, mostly the music and sound design. Gameplay dynamic and very hard for me, I give up after several tries ;)

Presentation is pretty cool in this one! Love the UI and filters you used, sound are also on point. The bullets spread feels a little too not effective, as if you wanted player to be weaker with this pattern(the 5 straight shots would be much more satisfying). Good game, very charming and polished!

Great visuals, lovely crunchy sound effects followed by an amazing soundtrack. The gameplay was really fun and the bullet hell aspect was challenging, I appreciate that you decided to let the player restart from the current boss rather than having you start back at the beginning. Good work :D

Amazing entry! How to use the warp is a bit difficult at the beginning, but when you understand how, its a bit easier.

Loved it! Awesome shmup! Jealous of your projectile patterns!

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it :D

The exchange mechanic is an interesting idea, but I found it hard to focus on two areas at once during a fight and warping would often just make me take damage in a different area. The third boss was also zoomed too far out, to the point that I couldn't effectively gauge the safe spaces between bullets.

It had some performance issues sometime (But I can understand that happening on the browser version) But despite that, this game is amazing and a lot o fun (And super hard), great job!!!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah the performance hiccups are a bit of a pain, but thanks for powering through them 😁

Really fun game, but I, as a very unskilled gamer, found it a bit tough (I would say that’s on me tho). I found the exchange mechanic really cool and rewarding, and it really elevates this game to another level than other similar ones where the exchange mechanics are merely power ups. Graphics and sound are also on point. Great job!

Love the art style and the visuals! The position exchange mechanic is also very fun and rewarding. I had a lot of fun!

A lot of games have done the exchange position with another character mid fight to fill in the theme and i feel like this is the first one where it actually has been required (only on the final boss) so props for that

Developer

Yeah the final one really leaned into that, was a strange balance of trying to keep the first levels more "new player safe" but still try to use all the mechanics. Glad you enjoyed it!

I loved it! Fun and attractive with that warp exchange! I really liked it 4/5. INTENSE FEEL !!

Thanks a lot :p Glad you enjoyed it!

Best of luck!

Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. I am going through and re-saving yours given my browser kept your rating saved data on my end...but it looks like I lost all 73 reviews and ratings from my end....  :( best of luck to you in the Jam

Sorry for the inconvenience if you have a chance to rate/re-rate

Very nice artstyle, a bit confusing at times! But honestly that is okay !
I got some of that Furi vibe and it felt very good to play, good work !

I really liked the first boss, the second one way less. It felt way harder to used the mechanic and to skillfully doddge the patterns, character is a bit slow.

Patterns were cool though, and music slaps ! I think a bit more manoeuvrability would have been sick !

Oh and also the game freezes pretty badly sometimes. I think it's due to Godot WebGl export and the fact that when you instantiate a resource the first time it freezes. I think it's not that hard of a fix and could make wonders for your game !

Awesome! Glad you liked it :D

And yeah the stutter is 100% that :p

Cool matrix style. Music is sick. like the controlls. I got confused which "cursor" destroys which bullet color, make them also different colors.

Developer

The CRT filter is quite a nice style, I initially went with a 3D Pixel art style but somehow ended on this :p
