A beautiful-looking and sounding game! This was fun to play, I liked the character swapping - gotta think quick to manage your characters.

Cheers, thanks for playing!

This game looks really great - the CRT filter concave-ness thing! I liked the movement... after a while, once I'd adapted to its speed. Great job!

Oooooh, there's a finished version. Okay, I could only play the browser version. I enjoyed it, but then once I'd beaten the Witch it all just kind of stops, except for the lurking bunny. Art is really good, and the three bosses are nicely different. Well done!

This was fun, but the movement was a bit slow. Als, the goblins hit really hard, I thought. But the game looks really great, and I think it's a good foundation moving forward. Well done!

It's a pity this is only the prototype phase, looks like there's some good potential here!

I would've liked to see more content! Pity you had so little time; better luck next year!

Can you die in this game..?

I was enjoying this - took out the rat and the prospector, but then fell off the map searching for the train station and that was that. The art is really great, as is the setting. Can you die? I seemed to get hit a lot during the prospector fight..!

Fun game! I really liked the art design, and the sound is good too. Really nicely done!

Very cool art! The different characters are very distinctly unique in their play styles - enjoyed Doug the most!

This is great! I've bounced off a lot of city builders and RTS games in the past because they're so complicated, but this hits the spot. I agree with others that the text is too small, and playing in fullscreen the item / building popups are too far away - mouseover a building at the bottom, the text popup is near top left!! A small complaint, though! Also, night time seems to come too quickly, and is reeaally dark. For anyone else playing, remember you can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.

I did well by adding a bunch of mines at the beginning to make sure I had the gold to keep building military buildings and units, which goes a long way to keeping you going when the big guys arrive.

Well done!

The movement mechanic is interesting, but took a bit of getting used to. As a grappling mechanic, it could feel more 'weighty' and less floaty. I agree with the person below who commented that the boss could be destroyed quite quickly - I found it helpful to grapple away from the boss, and then aim the mouse in the general direction of where its projectiles were coming from off-screen. This destroyed both the projectiles and the boss quite quickly.

Lots of fun! I liked the visuals, and the sound, along with the leaderboard as another noted, make it feel like an arcade game. The bubbles are quite OP, though!

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it!

Hi, thanks very much for your feedback!

It most definitely was a learning experience, actually creating a 'completed' game in Python - as you quite correctly point out there was still a bunch that needed to be done!

The 'purpose' of the game, such as it was, was just a high score chase which is why I put the focus on maintaining a high multiplier.

Thanks for playing!

This is excellent work - sound, art, dialogue, all of it. Very atmospheric - I did play with the lights off!

The idea behind the movement is really creative! The art style is also great. Well done!

Fun game, well done! The jumping was a little too floaty though.

Thanks for playing! There wasn't any sound at all - not through design; I just couldn't get it working how I wanted so ditched it in favour of fixing other issues!

So 'jacare' in Portuguese is 'jacare'? Nice!

Had fun with this, but maybe jumping tsunamis for almost a minute is a little long.

Still, the game looks really cute, well done!

Lots of fun, quite a few options, too. Art is really cool, too. But... the game kept crashing on me when I got Horus' Eye about two thirds health down.

I had a blast beating this. Was tricky at first, often not realising when the boss had hit me (some kind of feedback could help?) but just kept my distance, which really helps obviously!

This was really great. I got strong Luftrausers vibes from the art style and the palette.

Yup, Python is all I know. Thanks very much for playing!

Whoops! Sorry about that!

Thanks very much for playing, and for your comments!

Good job, well done! Bow is too powerful, though.

I thought the precision controls were a great touch. Well done! Very nice shmup!

Loved it! Awesome shmup! Jealous of your projectile patterns!

I was having a real blast with this until I got the bug where the AI decided to stop playing. Recommend training speed each day so you can get earlier picks of the dice.

This game looks so great - the frog level was especially eye-catching. Each level has its own control and mechanics, it was disappointing there were only three levels! Really well done.

An interesting idea! Are you supposed to be able to spend waaaay more money than you have?

This was really great - looks fantastic, and the bosses are quite challenging. He Who Has Become just floated away from me and I couldn't work out how to get close and exchange weapons with him, though.

Nice entry! There was a little bit of inconsistency with the enemies though, and they didn't always appear on screen.

The game looks good, and plays quite well. I had trouble with the sensitivity of my mouse, took some getting used to. Well done!

Once I'd gotten used to the control mechanic this was really great - otherwise it's really tough at the beginning. Really nice swapping mechanic in place.

I wasn't sure if I was playing it properly - giving the princesses the bow and then making sure they were out of the way of the fire ensured victory each time. There was no reason to try anything else, because they would otherwise rush at the boss, through fire if necessary which wouldn't go well for them, or get bounced back into fire most of the time.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I'm incredibly jealous!
