Well, the game involves spinning a weapon and throwing it. Classic application of torque. Here, you not only have to aim but also time the launch so it hits the enemy.

The controls were buttery smooth, liked it, but I do have one question, how does the attack mechanic fully work? its sometimes shooting where I want it to go but sometimes it just goes backwards.

As you see, the attacking uses spinning and releasing the weapon. The spin & throw physics is supposed to be realistic :)
A very interesting and creative game. The game mechanics perfectly align with the theme of the Jam. The first boss can be defeated by repeatedly getting close and releasing the attack instantly. But same method wont work for the later bosses. They are quite challenging and took me a few try but finally defeated all of them. Overall this is a fantastic game and I had a lot of fun. Great job!

Very simple game but extremely challenging. It kind of reminds me of IWBTG, due to its difficulty, but also because you die in half a second and respawn in two halves of a second. I really enjoyed it, but honestly, it’s impossible to finish (probably a matter of skill xD)

The real-time spinning and swinging of weapons might not be for me. I would suggest that if you can also injure enemies with weapons stuck into the ground, it would be better. Or if you spin and swing your weapon up and bounce it off the ceiling or wall for 1-2 times, it would make the gameplay more interesting.

too hard to hit :C

I think that intent is fine, but being hard to hit, and the last boss being hard to jump over too makes it a bit frustrating as a player. The other ones are also hard to hit, but you can leap over them and continue trying. On the third boss, I was thinking of it as a timer in which I needed to hit it until it died before it could reach me (A demon wall from final fantasy basically) and once I couldn't hit it more than twice before it reached me, I just gave up.
Facing difficult gameplay isn't an issue, but being sandwiched by difficult gameplay is draining.
I see. I'll try making the game better.
i really love this concept! my only suggestions would be to give some sort of indication about where the hatchet is going to go before release. i might just be bad at the game but it felt a little random to me (i did beat it though! not the secret boss, but just the main 3!)
i think what maybe could make it feel a little better would also be letting the player use either LMB or space to charge up the spin? i found it hard to maneuver/jump while charging because my left hand was doing all the work.
i'm looking forward to playing this in its finished state!! very good job so far imo

A little bit of nick pick: currently the release arc seems to favor attacks from the left side, is this intended?
