Thanks a lot for voting for us!! I remember your game and in fact revisited it just yesterday, its really nice, the ambient I feel in it, is so cool and really makes us sense this land has no end, I hope you can continue working in it, its one of these special games in this jam
Notice - I did not have long to play it due to the jam ending very shortly.
Off the bat, I really liked the UI look because it made me think of the games I would play back in school. I don't mean that in a way that your UI isn't "modern," it just has the art style of late 2000s to early 2010s web games. The music and 3D models all being custom is sick and I liked the spinning speed as your health mechanic. Having to race to the thing that spins you back up to speed was very satisfying to pull off without getting hit and I liked how the battles played out. I hope you place well in the Jam :D
Thanks a lot for your comment, indeed I wanted to give this air to the menu and UI overal, somehow I find this style is more clear in our eyes somehow, also Im happy that you find the mechanics satisfying and enjoyable, stay tuned for updates on the game!!
also I remember clearly your games, its really nice one too!! I hope you get a good rank in jam!!
cool game, the battle system is interesting
Thanks a lot for your comment!! We tried our best, stay tuned for updates!! your game is nice too, I clearly remember it, I hope you get a good mark in jam!!
10/10! Very good game, bro!
Thanks a lot for your comment!!! We are happy to hear you like, stay tuned for updates!! your game is really cool too, I specially like the ambient and the lights/lasers, its really making a great feel of the game
I really liked the different bosses with their unique attack patterns! Also, the way you use speed as an item that needs to be recovered adds an interesting layer to the gameplay. :D
Thanks a lot for your comment!! We are happy that you like the game idea and mechanics, stay tuned for updates! Your game is cool too, I remember it so well, the move through orbit is a cool approach to spin theme, I like space theme a lot in your game
The game is good, although I had certain errors. Both problems with the full screen mode, not only does it not cover the entire screen, the game completely freezes. It would unfreeze by spamming the click a bit, but the game would abruptly continue with the camera facing somewhere other than where it was before it froze.
Thanks a lot for your comments!! The full screen issue happens in downloaded version or webgl version? or both maybe? Thanks for pointing out these, we will look into this and see what happens. Your game is cool too, I remmeber this clasic RPG air from it a la Secret of Mana
Wow, great game! Very much a fan of the overall vibe of the game!
I had a lot of fun during each bossfight, the intro cutscene is also very polished and adds immersion, and the sets of attacks are varied and interesting to dodge (except some that I didn't get how not to get hit, like the beam attack of the 3rd boss).
The mechanic is really interesting, tho I think it's still not at its fullest potential yet. The "speed is your life" mechanic is very in theme with the game, but I feel like sometimes it can be a bit clunky, mostly because your only way of "healing" for now are spinners, that can be easily destroyed by bosses (they also take a bit too long to regenerate). Also, because shooting takes away speed, healing becomes a non-optional thing. I think the brushing mechanic of the spinner is a bit underutilized and too high risk, while I feel like that could be one of the most fun moves in the player's arsenal (the particles are amazing, I sometimes did it just for fun when I was sure I was gonna die).
I feel like this could also use some other ways to recharge speed: standing on a spinner waiting to be fully healed feels a bit like an interruption of the game flow, while I think more "dynamic" ways of recharging speed could make the game so much more fun and immersive! Or, make the spinner recharge you much much faster.
The audio and visuals are great, I like the low-poly-count aesthetic, reminds me of old games. the artstyle is very consistent so it feels good to play.
Overall, great game! I feel like the main mechanic has a lot of potential, it's a very cool idea!
Thanks a lot for your comments!!! We much appreciate your support, your advice and suggestions, we will be tweaking this following your wise advice to make it the best game possible, stay tuned for updates!! I remember your game, its a cool one!! the cards art is awesome and the mechanics are nice really
The bosses are unique and fun having different attack patterns. The large number of shots fired when power-up items are taken is also exhilarating. Very good job!
Fun game with interesting bosses, color customization on your spinner, and interesting levels and graphics.
Loved the concept of the game and the boss ideas! I loved that you can customize the bayblade it was a great and funny feature! Also loved the second boss, I think it was the best one and the one that fitted the theme spin the best because you had to spin around him. Good job! :D (Also, the music was amazing, really enjoyed it!)
An interesting idea. The bosses are challenging and have distctintive attacks, although I feel that in some difficulties they can be a little bit relentless. I love that you can custom your own Metal Top Solid, that's a cool feature!.
Overall, I had a great time, good job!.
The only thing I would change is the way you attack . Clashing with the bosses like a Beyblade would have been more fun that just shoot at them.
It's great and pretty challenging game!
I don't know the difficulty curve but I felt the first boss, maybe it's not the boss as I'm fine with it has lot of HP whatsoever but it's minions was actually bugging me, the second was much easier, Idk if I missed it but I was expecting spinning attack because we play as a beyblade(or that what I call these things) especially against those minions, it would be felt great if we could just slice them all up with spinning attack sort of.
I also had a bit of trouble with camera or maybe I just don't know how to control it because it's felt a bit too zoomed, I know this's pretty much a fps but I sometimes overlooked the red AoE on the ground when I was aiming at the boss.
My antivirus actually quarantined your game, not because it has virus or anything, it's always happened when I download exe file so just a suggestion that you zip or rar the game file just in case someone clueless reports your game being virus, just saying.
That's all I guess? well if I said something wrong or missed something, let me know.
Very fun game, and I love that you can customize your Top - "extra" things like this in a game jam are really awesome to see. Same goes for the cinematic intro, awesome stuff.
The fights felt fun! The idea of recharging your speed bar at stations is really cool and fits the game really well. Had a lot of fun, great job!
Fun game. The first seemed to have a lot of HP; Unless I'm missing something. Cool idea on the mechanic for the theme. The character designs were nice and I liked being able to customize my spintop. The music was also quite nice.
It was pretty interesting. I really liked the idea of the charging pads and the visuals. I don't know if it was my resolution, but I had a bit of a hard time seeing what's around me, I think I would've preferred if the player camera was a bit more zoomed out. The game crashed one time for me and actually crashed my browser, which I don't think I've ever had happened from a WebGL game :) Overall great stuff, keep it up!
Your game is really entertaining. You've taken care of every detail, from an intro to explain the story of the game with different scenes, a difficulty selector, and also the ability to change your character's appearance. The main mechanic is excelent and fits really well with the theme of the JAM (it's in my top of the most interesting ones). The game is like a shoot 'em up combined with Souls, and I really like the idea of having to manage the 'stamina' bar and recharge it in different centers where you also have to be careful so the boss doesn’t destroy it. The bosses have a great variety of mechanics, and I admire that you were able to do it in 3D, which must be very complex to create in just one month. I couldn't defeat the 3rd boss xD it was too hard for me hahaha. Have you tried doing a no-hit run? That must be a big challenge. Congratulations and have a great day!
Very Cool! I like that You have to balance shooting the boss since your speed is your health bar and your ammo!
The Boss are pretty cool too! It's pretty tricky since they can destroy the health pads.
Amazing work bro, I really enjoyed the game, mayb the bosses have to much HP, sometimes it feels repetitive. However its really nice you create a background story as an introduction and the art its great
I find it really impressive that you have created a 3d game in just one month!
I also like the customization feature.
Gameplay-wise I have some suggestions though. I'd like it if there were a bit more acceleration and deceleration in the character movement, like this it felt a little stiff for me, keeping in mind you're essentially controlling a beyblade kind of object. That's also my second thing to criticize a little, maybe it was just my way of playing it, but I felt the fact that you're a beyblade battling against another, which sits in a mech kind of thing as a bss (at least I interpret it like this) and no way to battle the two beyblades directly against each other felt like the choise for the "characters" is a little underutilized. I didn't really feel like there's a specific reason why my character could'nt have been any other spinning thing, sorry.
But overall good work, definately a lot of work for one month!
Very good job ! Solid work bro the game is definitely fun !
