Very funny game, I love it! Congrats!
WHAT’S UP, CHAMPIONS? ;)
Only half an hour left, and I’m here among the top 20 highest-rated entries to give you all an extra boost - may the best one win! Everyone gets 5 stars from me as a gift! The jam is almost over, and I hope everyone’s hard work pays off!
Go, champions!!! 🎉🔥
Congratulations on the fantastic creations you’ve worked so hard on! It’s amazing to see such incredible work come to life! :))
ALL THE BEST!
damn, i thought at first the game was a bit ordinary, but it's much more than meets the eyes, the lights on the wheel as the hands health, the way the camera moved when the phase changed, there are a lot of small things that add up!
while having different weapons is nice and makes the fight more fresh, I didn't feel anything special while using them, combat could use a bit more of love.
great entry overall, works well with what it has!
Wow Amazing Visuals and effects🤩
Feels really unique and fever dreamy, I love it!
The controls were strange at first because I thought it's pure 2D :D but got used to it quickly.
The music is really smooth and fitting and I liked the visuals.
Very good! Boss telegraphs very well and everything is easy to understand. Great job!
Hey this is some nice gameplay. Really enjoyed the limited amount I played, others have pointed out Cuphead which has similar art style. Loved that too.
Did have an issue where after I dropped one stack of dynamite, when I clicked again, the game just froze. It is only after I exited the full screen did it resume.
Good luck!
Your game really gives me Cuphead vibes, and I love it! ❤ For a first game, you did an amazing job! GG! ❤
It's not our first game by far, just nothing on itch.io ;-)
Very polished and has great game feel - also reminds me of Cuphead - and I really liked the random selection of weapons. The fights are well designed as well! Nice job!
Pretty damn good on every aspect. The artstyle is the best part. The random weapons mechanic makes the game feel varied even if there's just 4 of them.
Very well polished game, loved the graphics and the sound fits perfectly.
The web build suffers from some initial lag spikes, most likely linked to the particle effects being compiled on the fly, you may want to preload them during the game load time to cover up the lag.
Well done!
Visuals and sound effects are amazing and they create a good atmosphere. I like the spin mechanic for the weapon choice however when I try to throw the bombs I got game crash twice and I don't know why and I didn't have the same crash with other weapon types. Congrats.
Yep, freeze happen on the first time you throw dynamite, then disappear after 3 to 10secs. After this freeze, you can die infinite time or throw infinite dynamte, it won't lag anymore.
Enjoyed it quite a lot, couldn't stop coming for more. In my opinion:
- Loved the art and the sound. Overall, it captures really well the vibe.
- Liked the idea of the weel to make players adapt to different situations.
- Liked the attack patterns and it never felt unfair. Because of this, I kept trying again when I died.
- Personally, my biggest feedback is that I missed having some basic UI with a health bar or the number of hits I could take.
Hey ! Your life is shown by the big Yellow SpotLights on the stage. 1 hit = 1 light goes down. When you clear a cycle you get a light back. When you are in the red/dark ambiance, it mean you are right about to die if you take one more hit. Our idea was to make a game with no UI for fitting good with the theater theme, and I can admit that the understanding of the player's life and what the player sees isn't always clear. I hope you'll take another try to finally figuring this out :-)
Aaaaaah, my bad then, thanks for telling me! I'll give it another pass :) I think it's a good idea and design choice, but maybe could use a bit of reinforcement, like the light blinking before going off or on, to catch player's attention
You're right ! We just had no more time to do it...
Awesome! I enjoyed this one and the idea is really unique. CoOl!
