The art was incredible. One thing that caught me by surprise and was kind of funny was against the first boss. I found the child and thought "it would be really funny to be able to attack the NPCs" and when I got close he turned into a giant eye, which caught me off guard

Rated! ;) Funny! :D
Thank you if you rate my game as well.
All the best, keep it up!

My favorite part was the art direction, the piano boss looks great, even though it definitely needed more time in the oven. The controls are not very intuitive, and I'm still unsure what e does. Overall, this is a good idea that could really benefit from some story and polish.

thanks! feel free to checkout some of my other work as well if you like this art. <3

i managed to get stuck in the first area, in between the tables lol.
the orb butt cracked me up, the battle system was easily exploited against the orb boss, by just walking in and out he quickly died, in the description says that speed and momentum impact the damage, if it is implemented like this, the base damage in the yoyo might be a bit high.
i enjoyed the horror theme as well.

A bit hard to control, but a great take on the theme. Plus, the monsters look cool.

I like the mechanics of the yoyo physics, really well made, I got stuck in a point first time I played, later I got used to this and was fine for first boss, I hope you can expand and fix this, but I like it, I rate graphics on top,, but all is good, also if you have time, please rate my game too, thanks!!

I absolutely love the yoyo physics! (^▽^) They took a moment to get used to, but once I got the hang of them, I was effortlessly cruising through the bosses. The first boss’s design is incredible—his laughter genuinely pulled me into the fight and made the encounter feel even more immersive. (≧▽≦) While the music isn’t the strongest aspect, it complements the game’s vibe well and enhances the overall experience. ♪(o^▽^o) Well done on bringing this game to life—fantastic work! (b^_^)b

Cool mechanic and art work.

Defeated 2nd boss, but it ended there.

Check out my game.

Nice concept.

I think it would have been nice to control the length of the Yo-Yo :

If it's closer to the character, it spins faster and build momentum, dealing more damage, and if it's farther it's easier to touch the ennemy at the cost of lowering the damage dealt.

But I'm glad you submitted your game despite not being as finished as you would have liked, because I really like your idea.

Also that Orb have no business being that caked up lmao

cake was 100% necessary. Especially when clenched

I couldn't kill Mrs. Melodies—it looked like I did, but I actually didn’t. She disappeared, and suddenly I died to a musical note that showed up. Despite that, I really liked the bosses' visuals, the music, and I had fun spinning the yo-yo.

Is Mrs Melodies the end boss, her health bar didn’t go down when I hit her but she did die, her attacks were super janky too but even with that I had a lot of fun swinging the yoyo around like a madman. The setting is great, old style Japanese horror with a great fitting background track. The swinging of the yoyo feels really nice and the memey cover art drew me in, gj

Super easy for the yo-yo to get permanently stuck on the surrounding environment, loved the visuals and the piano boss looks.
