Very fun and lighthearted, I enjoyed it! My only gripes are that the difficulty can get a bit too hard and I wasn't sure if I was dealing enough damage or doing it correctly. But it was a fun little game, great job!

A siren/cat spin in a whirlpool of 3 rings that makes you gain speed the closer you are to the boss.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes, all the work was made from scratch

Nice simple game with great art, only thing I have to complain about is the controls, when you're in the bottom side of the screen the directions seem to invert, and also the sound effects seemed to get louder and louder as the boss fight went on? It sounded like there were tons of bullets being fired over and over again.
this is really fun, the opening cutscene is great, this is altogether a really good game, be proud if it
The artstyle is very cute and loved how you implemented the theme into moving around a whirlpool. My main critique/nitpick is that when you are at the bottom and at the left side the controls feel inverted because if I am moving clowise and I want to go counterclockwise my brain automatically thinks I need to press D, but actually I have to press A.
Besides the game is very fun, and loved the aesthetics.
I really appreciate the auto-fire mechanic, honestly such a great take on the theme - you nailed the orbit speeds, instant snappy direction changes. That made dodging a lot fun. I liked the goofy lore too, only complain I have is most of the time I didn't feel like I was damaging them?
I find the game a little too hard compared to the offbeat atmosphere. Other than that, it's actually pretty well made !
Great cutscene and story both with sound effects and visuals are increasing the expectations for the gameplay. However in my opinion the gameplay needs more polishing and improvement.
Stellar game, some really well made visuals and presentation here throughout, your team did great! There have been a few games that utilise this orbit movement mechanic and the way its implemented in your game could be improved I think.
The autofire is a great mechanic, but the lack of a cooldown for changing orbits makes the rotational movement portion of the game redundant, letting players only stay in one part of the map as opposed to moving across the whole arena.
The squid boss attacks could be improved but the moving vulnerable spot makes for a very interesting movement-based boss fight.
I really enjoy it and see potential for an interesting action game.
Super Cute!!! Like the other said I also like the art style a lot! And I really like that there is a small story at the beginning!
Genuinely beautiful, also love the soundtrack. The controls take some getting used to but overall the gameplay is great as well.
THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT! I have a gift for you ;)

Enjoy it!
this is fun as heck, very beautiful and VERY creative, great job, the best take on the theme I have seen so far.
Very cool concept and fun game. Best part of the game is the art.
I think it is very interesting that they added an extra dimension by going under water. Made me take a while to get used to dodging some attacks, but it was very fun. The only suggestion I'd make is that they could have timed the attacks for more intersting or challenging combinations, for example in the second boss, there are some times where the attacks are under water but the tentacle is above, so there is no reason to go underwater and risk getting hit making it trivial. It can happen with the last boss, but he has more mixed AOE/bullet attacks. Maybe even just alternating 1 above and one below in the same pattern could help.
But overal very good work, i'd like to play a full version of it! :)
