I loved the visuals and the controls, the game works very well but I don't, I lost to all bosses, the only boss I almost killed was ouroboros, nice work

Using a boomerang that spins around the player as a weapon
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
I single-handedly made every sprite in the game, there is no team. I made one track for the game, and the other one was royalty free music, ("Bossa Antiguo" - Aaron Paul Low)

A ridiculously fun game! The visuals are great, especially the boss designs, they had me laughing, each one gave me a tough time))) Great job!
Visuals and effects are nice. Love the theme going on around Australia and everything! (Very accurate to Australia (although I've never been so uuh... yea (cool ๐))) Really great game you have here in general and really fun!
(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)
Haha tittle is funny, the visuals are cool, very cartoonish, I like the mechanics, all is fine in the game, the attack is nicely done with the theme spin. I rate graphics, controls, fun and music on top but all is great really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!
The flavor is super funny - I especially liked the deadly laser sun. I also appreciate the boss select, it allowed me to check out all the ways my ass could be beat without having to do start over from the beginning. Thanks for delivering an authentic Australian lifestyle experience!
Perfect depiction of the legendary land that is Australia, it is lore accurate too.
BEST AUSTRALIAN SIMULATOR EVAAAAA!!!!
all the memes where great, had a good laugh
but jump controls felt unresponsive, couldnt jump twice many times
the artstyle is great! nice work!
Heyy Ouroboros, fancy seeing you here :D This was a fun one! Bosses were quite difficult haha, but I guess I am just not ready to live in Australia :O The boomerang mechanic is cool and fits the theme. Quite hard to actually aim at the boss to hit it consistently but was fun to use either way.
Very fun game. Rather difficult, but I suppose that's just canonical, lol. The boomerang felt a bit inconsistent, though: sometimes going far, sometimes not, often times I had to go get it out of the air while it sat there. The hit FX were quite nice, and sold the impact.
Cool game.
The whole idea is pretty funny, and I like it that you have to move around so you can damage bosses more, but I don't really like how hard they are. Haven't passed further than tutorial. Also what's killing it for me is the lack of music. But the arts are pretty cool! Good job!
The arts were very cool, as was the boss fight. I hope that if one day I go to Australia, I won't encounter animals armed with rifles.
The idea is very fun and cute. I feel the bosses could use some more tells. Loads of moves comes out too fast for you to be able to react. I also think the kangaroo could have been placed later down the ranks with how difficult he is. I think you should still work on it cause I really do love the idea of this. And throwing the boomerang is very fun.
Love that the Kangaroo is a boxer. Game is super hard though, not a big window to dodge the kangaroo attack. Theme is fun though
I love the art style but impossible for me to beat one boss, this is very hard. for me ^^
Do you have any tips for me?
Generally, avoid making sudden movements and staying near the bosses helps a lot especially with the kangaroo and snake. You don't have to throw your boomerang at max speed, since it will return to you at that speed too. You want it at around the same speed as the boss is moving so you hit it multiple times as its coming back.
all my friends irl also said this game was pretty hard, but once you get the feel of it I think you will find it quite fun.
good luck!
I loved the art style and all of the effects. They look really good and the time you spent working on the art really shows. Good job. The overall concept is great too. This is a really good game.
