How does your game fit the theme?
The main gameplay is dropping down a hole, or diving deeper into it.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I believe some of the sound effects may have come from a sample, but it has been edited to the point of originality.

This was fun game, I like sounds very much. I managed to get to 55 m deapth, I dont know is that good or not :)

Cool concept for an endless runner/faller :) I liked the gnome and pickup sprites especially! I do wish there was some more build up to the speed and difficulty as it felt like how far you get was almost more based on luck than skill. Maybe having a wider area to traverse and avoid enemies would be good too, or just being able to see the pickups when it gets really dark could get you out of an otherwise impossible situation. Nice entry though!

Here's a short gameplay video of my playtest of it. Hope it helps provide you with some valuable feedback!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

Sure thing! If you could play and rate our game back it'd be much appreciated! Always looking for more feedback.

I really liked that the darkness represented your health, that is a very unique idea.

Really neat concept! I felt like the enemies moved a bit too fast for my taste, but other than that it was such a great game! A perfect fit for the theme and a great game in general! Amazing work!

I did better by sticking to the right row and letting my battery run out than I did by trying to move around and grab the pickups, so I might be too old to play this how it's intended. It looks very fast and a little hard to follow for me, but looking at the comments, it might just be me.

The oldschool aesthetic is awesome, the music is very good.

JUSTICE FOR CARL GNOME. I think it's interesting how you often need to decide whether or not its worth it to take damage to get another battery. Awesome game!

This can easily become an addictive experience. Enemies seem a bit fast but the gameplay of the light going out as you get deeper along with needing to get power really drives the theme here! Good job on this!

Gnome = yes

Really easy to get addicted to, and great artstyle :D The enemies are abit fast, but that's definitely part of what makes it so challenging xD

Pretty fun experience, albeit somewhat hardcore

Submitted

Very fun and fit the theme well.

Really cool game. I really like the music you had going. I found the enemies a little hard to dodge but I could just be bad at the game LOL. Really nice work!
