Woahh I was fully immersed into the whole experience, it was tense and thrilling! Great work on the impending storm audio and background music in particular, they slap HARD <3

I was a little confused by the objectives not being super clearly communicated. And I'm not sure if it's just because the default is 'Easy', but I also wasn't really clear about the consequences of the storm

But overall, I really dig the style and simplicity of the game!

So immersive, so challenging. I just wanted to replay the game again and again :) Good job!

Very atmospheric. I liked the visual and sound design a lot!

I love how much this encourages replay. As I learned the map after a couple runs I found myself trying to formulate strategies for getting the optimal amount of resources back.

Small details like being able to show the timer and having difficulty options also contribute to this replayability, which I enjoyed.

Great work! It’s clear tons of effort went into this, and it’s really fun.

You can collect rabbits and crabs, so this must be pokemon!

Cool!

The combination of the sound effects, music, and the gradually approaching storm really creates a tense atmosphere.  Especially liked how the storm started to feel more intense over time, adding a great sense of urgency. Great job on making the storm itself a real threat! Keep up the awesome work!

This is an amazing game, I really vibed the music an the sound effects are really cool too. Gathering resources and then reparing your shack was really satisfying all together. Also loved how the ambience changes with time and the storm slowly goes approaching. At first I thought there was no danger in being in the storm and immediately the lightning killed me hahaha. Good job! :)

I really like how much the storm imposed itself on the game as it was going on. Good work!

Thanks so much, I love this comment. I tried really hard to do that, without making it unplayable by the end, so that's really validating feedback to hear.

Really cool game !!! I've just spent an hour playing... Could give more information about the requirements to pass, the time left and your inventory being full, but expect for that. the game is really fun to play !!!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm thrilled it kept you entertained for an hour!

Thanks so much!

That means a lot to me coming from you! You made my  favorite (by far) game at the first jam I ever did! Last year's Halloween jam where you submitted ISCREAM CO. It actually heavily inspired my last game before this, a hotdog cart simulator game, lol. I'll definitely be checking out your submission this time too!

I really enjoyed this game! Did not really know what to think for the first couple of minutes, but fixing up the shack was definitely satisfying. The thunder clap scared me a little bit.

I think you did a really good job with the audio on this - it all seems to be tuned very well.

One small thing that I think could make a huge difference - if the shack level/heat level/food level were shown throughout the game, the player would have some idea of what they are headed towards.

Great job!

Cool atmosphere, good sound design. One of the few quality games that really fits the jam theme! Bravo!

Hi there, I love the hand-drawn art style like this. It looks cozy at the first 5 min but not when the storm coming. Good job on this one man.

It was fun! I liked the mechanics of improving the cabin, it gives me motivation to complete its construction haha.
On the other hand, the music and sound are well implemented, and I liked the art style.

Great job! :D

That was a lot of fun! The concept overall was great and well polished and the art was a nice personalized touch. My only feedback is to have some sort of indicator that shows when the inventory is full. I spent a whole run collecting everything only to realize that I could only hold 4 things. Didn't stop me from trying again though!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I agree 100%, that's a needed addition lol. I'm glad you gave it another chance!

Wow this games art style and music really goes well together to create a survival based atmosphere! Those loud thunder sounds really started to hit later into the run. I enjoyed upgrading my little shack in hopes to make it throughout the storm! Congrats!

Developer

Thank you!!
