How does your game fit the theme?
There is a cycle of calm (shop) and storm (battle). Each battle also increases in intensity as it progresses, with a final storm coming at the last turn to close the round.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

I think this is the best game from the jam that I played myself! Good game design, big impact from all the actions, original idea, great graphics with very cool animations and well-designed art, great music, fits the game well, the sounds convey all the actions well, but I think it was worth making the music a little quieter so that the sounds could be heard better. But I still didn’t really understand the correspondence to the theme. If it’s just a change in the cycle of the store and battle (which is written on the game page), then it’s not very good. This is a very cool game, I advise everyone to play it!

Good freaking stuff, was sad there wasn't more of it.

Really, really well designed game! I also love all the graphics and audio, they are amazing! The strategic gameplay is very engaging and it's so satisfying to push enemies to the danger zones. The game ramps up the difficulty pretty quickly, yet it never feels too overwhelming or tedious thanks to the enemy variety.

After playing this awesome game, I was wondering what other games did you make and then I realized it's you guys, lol!

What an amazing game, at first i didn't understand the mechanics but that was just me.

It's a wonderful game, amazing art and fitting sounds and music! The gameplay is real good and adding upgrades to I didn't expected that, but it made the game even better!

This was an absolutely fantastic little rogue like. Super cool idea with great execution. By far one of my favorite in the  jam. Can't wait for more updates. Great job!

Very cool game. Seems pretty polished and well thought out! I have to admit it's pretty hard to save more than one little guy XD

Amazing design. Mechanics are simple but they are working really fine with this kind of turn based battles. I was worried about to protect those little scrappies even more than the main character!

The 2D art style and animatins are just lovely, from characters to UI it looks amazing, keeping it simple and clear. Music is engaging and fits nice to the theme.

It was an interesting experience, I would be happy to play it in future versions :)

Great job Giant!

insane quality, why is it so short :(((

Fantastic little game. Love the dual purpose lightning strikes. I honestly was disappointed when I beat the last level because I wanted to keep playing. Some of the upgrades would be obviously busted in a full game (I was making a ridiculous amount of money by spam pulling the same two enemies into each other) but that's something that would get polished out with more time and didn't negatively effect my experience at all.

Great game, that works and looks perfectly, finished all the levels. Not sure if it is the right fit for the theme, but as the theme is just a starting point, it doesn't change the fact that the game is awesome!

Great game!, I like the concept of the game and the graphic

I'm so sorry especially because all the comments hint that this is a very good game but I must report that for me (running on a M3 max Apple Silicon on Opera GX) the game won't work at all. I can start but my clicks do not seem to be captured by the application D: Really loved the art and the sound anyways <3

I really love the art style!

Very fun! I ended up playing this more than I thought I would, was surprised there even was an ending. Overall, it's unusually polished for a jam game. I like the characters and music, too. I learned everything I needed by just playing the game. Letting the player keep the upgrades when restarting the game was a nice touch.

The only thing that bothered me that the attack squares didn't indicate in any way which enemy was attacking that square, it would have been nice not to rely on memory and attention.

Art and animations are really really good. Game feels incredibly polished for a jam game. The music is also nice. The gameplay is pretty good, but feels maybe a bit too similar to into the breach. I think you've started to put a twist on the sort of push puzzle gameplay, but it needs a little more to stand out mechanicaly. Id be interested to see how this game shapes up if it continued development.  Pretty impressive that you were able to get the roguelike items and stuff working for this jam too.
