I really like the art-style on this one, very fun style!
The game-play was innovative too, being a sword-smith, making swords to fight off the mob :)
One thing I would suggest is up the time you can have things in the furnace for, I never was able to use both at the same time. Also during the start give an infinite time for making your first sword, that gives the player some time to figure all out, before they get attacked.
Music was chill, overall the game has potential.
Good job!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to add a new scene for the the player to discover how to craft and drop items without the timer.
Loved the crafting and TD combination, kinda hard but nothing that some tweaks doesnt fix. Would love to see more weapons, and variants. Also I think that the anvil animation when you hit the spot should be faster or instant, that slows down the pace of the game a lot

I love it! I have thought about a similar concept once and you executed it perfectly. Lot of potential here, good job!
This is by far the best game I've played in the jam yet. The pacing is perfect, the graphics and audio are all pretty goood. I love the crafting minigame mechanics. Gave me a lot of ideas to implement it in my own game since mine is also minigame centric entry. I loved playing it. Great job!
Thank you so much! Your game is on my list to play yet!
well done!
Really fun gameplay loop and i think your game has lots of future potential!! Great job! I do feel like it's a bit difficult tho..
The mini games are really well made and I love the art style!
Fun forging minigames, very stardew-feeling :)
I suspect I ran into a bug with the combat though as I could keep making piles of swords but the enemy would not attack?
Well polished otherwise!
actually you got the true ending where the rats don't have the courage to attack you and surrender
nah, that's bug for sure, i hadn't come across that one yet, i'll try to reproduce and fix it for the post-jam patch! thank you so much for the feedback!
LOL true, if I was a rat there's no way I would try attacking at that point.
If it helps at all, it occurred when I sold a sword the same moment my first knight died.
Cheers :)
that really helps! it must've broken my state verification somehow, thanks again for the feedback!
The crafting minigames are cool! It's my first time seeing someone making their own sounds, that's impressive!
Overall, very strong entry! Kudos!
I really enjoyed the crafting mechanics, and the overall look and feel of the game!
amazing work!
I really enjoyed this game! The crafting mechanics were fun and reminded me of games like Overcooked and Jacksmith, which kept me hooked. The art is adorable, and I loved the little minigames, especially the sword polishing—it felt so satisfying! I did find the difficulty ramped up pretty quickly, and I think some more balancing, especially in terms of managing resources and keeping up with enemy waves, would make it even better. Overall, it’s a well-polished game, and I can definitely see this concept being expanded into a larger project. Great job!
Thank you so much! Those were my 2 biggest inspirations for this game! For sure it'll need more balancing tho
Super super good. I'm a sucker for well-scoped jam games. Well done :)
a lot was cut from the scope so we could finish in time 😅 thank you!
hello hello, fellow brazilian dev.
Mandou muito ;) Boa sorte ai meu amigo
Really cool game! I really like how you use the "fantasy" of being a smith, and turned it into a fun micro game with excellent mini games. It's fun, it's polished, and it's pretty! I don't like the song too much, but at least it's slow and relaxing, and doesn't really draw attention to itself. I also thought the game was a little bit too hard. And I was hoping there was a teensy bit more to the gameplay loop. But everything that's in the gameplay loop is great and very polished!
Amazing game! Very addictive and fun. Great job!
im awful at it but i love it! the graphics are very warm and nice and cat is cute, i love the little waddle waddle animation, so nice to play!
I like the game design and nice graphics/sound; I think the game is tuned a little too tough though. I see in the comments someone beat it but I'm not sure how. The sword grinding taking a set amount of time means you are held up there, and 1 full knight at 3* for both seems to only be able to kill 1 rat and then they'll die in the next hit. The normal knights aren't even able to kill one before dying. I think regaining health for the knights/building or giving the player a way to regain health is necessary or just making it quicker to build.
Thank you for the feedback! I did intend on having a station were you could spend ingots to regain health, but it wasn't ready in time. For sure i'll be rebalancing the game as soon as the jam is over, to have a more subtle curve.
If you want a tip, try putting a second iron ore in the furnace while you remove the first. This way, it should be ready to pick up as soon as you finish the first sword, allowing you to continue the loop without stopping.
I tried doing something like that where I put in 2, took them both out and on the ground and then put 2 more in. But maybe there's a better rhythm to it.
Nice game! Found it impossible to kill any enemies before using the hint of switching furnaces. Finished the game after that. Good work!
Thank you! I'll have to find a way to teach the player that via gameplay only
Nice game !
Cute Looking!
