The bubble shooter were really anoying me, they didn't aim at the enemies closer to the clam, so it was like they were leaving it to die.

Anyway, for what I could see, you made a game with a lot of mechanics, congratulations on your submission really amazing game in such a little time!

Really solid game! Loved the soundtrack and it has a good variety of defense items!

Might be a skill issue but I feel like the difficulty ramps up quick. when I got to wave 4 I barely have any resources left to defend myself. Maybe some sort of "tips" could work to help give some suggestion on what the player should do

This is a very well made game!! I think you guys are getting less ratings than you should because a) you have no cover photo for the game and b) there are 4 other games with the exact same title (and that have cover photos). This is unfortunate because this is easily the best entry I've played out of about 10 others so far. The music is beautiful and the tone shift between battle and build state works really well in service of the theme. The art is gorgeous and I especially loved the punch attack animation the fish enemy had, really great stuff. The real world dynamics you based your game off create an interesting framework for a td game. For example the crabs shuffling up the side of the rocks before attacking gave a nice layer to the wave attacks. The game is also scoped very well and feels like a concept with some real depth to it with plenty of polish and artistic flair. My one big complaint is that I found the factory and other utility towers to be very confusing, it may just be a me problem but I think some guidance in the form of a text blurb or screenshot or something would help there. Really great job everybody!!

Thanks! In terms of guidance for factories there is some stuff mentioned in the tooltips, we would have wanted to add a tutorial with more time but we got rushed toward the end unfortunately. Cover photo is about to be remedied!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed our game a lot! As already said we intended to have a tutorial and we’ll be adding that in an update in the future. Also interesting softlock, I assume the fish was just stuck in that spot and couldn’t move for some reason? We’ll try to replicate and fix whatever happened.

The soft lock was that the fish was in a spot where it would auto focus my factory while also being outside the range of my turrets. It couldn't kill my factory so it was just shooting shot after shot at it without advancing forward and without being attacked by my turrets.

An exceptionally well-made tower defense game with great visuals and audio design. I am genuinely impressed at what your team could achieve in the time frame of a week! I did encounter an issue where if you press X to close the build menu before you place your clam, you are then soft locked from the game and cannot place the clam at all, it could help to have a key to re-enter build mode.

I'm a big fan of tower defense (and clams for the duration of this game jam).  Also, the audio is soooooo sooooo good. 

One thing I thought detracted from the experience was definitely the AI of the turrets. It seemed somewhat random what they targeted, but I would really hope they targeted what is closest to the Clam. 

I liked the progression in the beginning! If there's future development I'd love to see what direction this takes.

We also noticed this problem with the AI. In the future we might have the ability to click on an enemy to have all models within range target it, or something like Bloons where you select the targeting mode of your modules.

Brilliant result for a game jam. Super polished and fun. Visuals and animations are really impressive. The gameplay and structures are well thought out. Only complaints would be: it wasn't super clear how to make the factory/mine crafters work, the upgrade menu broke at some point and I could no longer upgrade any towers and lastly, the difficulty was a bit too lenient. I reached a point where I was making enough currency to place down tonnes of turrets and coast through each wave easily (way too laggy after wave 21 due to the amount of bubbles and enemies on screen.)

Absolutely awesome submission. Hope you enjoyed the jam and are proud of your great game!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! We intended to have a tutorial that had to get cut because of time, which also affected any deeper playtesting. We’re also aware there may have been some issues with the upgrade menu, so that will all get looked at once we come back to the game. Definitely proud of what we accomplished overall though, thank you again!

Great work on visuals, loved the tower animations and enemy designs. A few bugs that hindered progress, but a lot of potential!
