Got to round 13, is there a last round?
It was mad how you can move the animals around after the round starts and during the round as opposed to most tower defense games where once you place a defense it becomes unmovable. The art is amazing, love the animals designs and the music.
However, the connection to the theme was lost on me

No, there are infinite rounds. The last ennemy type is added in turn 10. Afterward the difficutly increase exponentially.

The graphics look great, the audio sounds awesome (especially at night) and the game is overall very well made. Its good just wish it had more unique mechanics.

Fun and good quality game, lantern for changing where they defend is a pretty clever idea so it is a bit different. Graphics/animation are good and music/sounds are good also so not much to complain about, for a week it is very good.

The mix of visuals, programming, and audio is amazing; they are also very well implemented together! I also really like the mechanics, being able to change the animal's position at will at any moment (and the animation that follows) or collecting coins with the mouse. I love the game!
My only critique is that you clearly know how to make a polished game, but it feels like the game needs a unique mechanic to set it apart from other tower defense games. Yes, the game is fun, but it's not very different from other tower defense games I've played. That's just my opinion, but again, for a game jam, this is incredible!

Light based mecanics were supposed to be the unique feature of the game. However it proved not that fun and I was short on time to implement and polish what I planned: ennemies and towers that act differently depending on the light, upgradable lanterns etc. So only the basic lantern was included in the game.
The randomized upgrades are another thing that is not in most other tower defense games.
