This was very fun, and the interpretation of the theme of your character's attacks being more unstable.
The boss fight was a bit messsy I have to say, there's A LOT going on there. But other than that great entry!
The shooting during the storm was a highlight for me—it felt fantastic. I also appreciate how much experimentation you're clearly doing, which is exactly what game jams are all about. Lastly, the overall balance stood out. The boss HP, shooting rate, and enemy HP all felt spot-on. Solid entry!
Fun game! I like the short levels and the different attack mechanics. Overall, well done!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game
Nice game! loved that you could fly over stuff and was quite challenging too, great job :)
The music really fits the action and enhances the experience. I loved how the wings expand to indicate flying. The integrated tutorial within the level was effective, making it easy to grasp the mechanics. Losing control of your aim is an interesting mechanic, even if it can be a bit frustrating at times. The boss fight felt chaotic and matched the theme perfectly. Overall, well done!
Nice game!
- Music is suitable for the action.
- Liked the wings expanding to indicate flying.
- Not sure why the bullets keep getting bigger as they travel. Found it a bit unnatural.
- Tutorial does a good job, and cool that it's integrated into the level.
- Losing control of your aim is a great mechanic, although sometimes frustrating as well.
- The boss fight was really chaotic and fitting to the theme.
Well done overall :)
Thank you for the feedback!
I thought it was cooler if they expanded slightly. Initially it was meant to indicate outwards traveling bullets just like the jump, but I realized it was kind of hard to tell the difference. I sort of just kept it because it felt cool, and also it won't look weird when launching right out of the player. The scale might be too much though and it may be expanding too slow. You should still be able to aim where the mouse cursor is, one of the projectiles will still go to it. The main mechanic with that was you had to time the focus properly to get it to hit.
I think it need some adjustments on balance and visuals. I didn't see how I was going to die.
Interesting, unique mechanics and visual style, I really liked it a lot. Explanations throughout of the mechanics were very clear and effective at making things easier to pick up. The power dash to heal felt very satisfying especially - great job on the game!
Super cool mechanic on how you lose control of your attacks. Actually encourages you to time when you use up your wrath at the boss fight. Great job!
Innovative and fun! The way the music evolved was awesome. Nicely done.
What I liked about the game: The visual style, although a bit sloppy, I liked, also liked some mechanics such as flying and overall had a good time while playing
What I would change: Still, the visual part is not perfect and there are not very many levels
In any case, it is a really good job!
