How does your game fit the theme?
You have to complete the chores before your parents come back home. Take care of your sanity by playing with the teddy bear, otherwise you will hallucinate - turning the house chores into complete madness!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Some free assets were used - mostly from itch.io. Some parts of the code were inspired by youtube videos.

I feel like a tutorial would be very helpful cuz I was kinda lost at the beginning. And at some point after interacting with the teddy bear a couple times, the game got super blurry. But I like the idea of the game, the art looks nice and the music sounds good too. Nice game!
The general idea of the game is that the screen gets blurry when you lose enough sanity, but there is a bug that sometimes after interacting with the teddy bear a few times the screen stays like that until you move to the next area which ruins the experience. You are right that the game should be explained better during the actual gameplay. No one likes reading through the rules before playing. Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot!

Nice aesthetics, pretty interesting idea, gj! took me sometime to understand how to clean, but I found out the broom next room

Love the pokemon vibe in the beginning with the mother coming into your room. Great game. I enjoyed the chores. It was the right amount of challenging too. Looks great as well. Really no complaints.

Fun and creative game with solid art and music. A few bugs like items sticking in the fridge, and interactions feeling a bit slow, but overall a well-executed entry. Great interpretation of the theme!
pretty cool game everything was interconnected pretty well!
the only problem i found in the game was that if you accidentally put an item on top of another item not the same type in the fridge, then you cant do the mini game because they will be sticked to each other.
other than that, all of the other aspects of the game were designed in a great way

i think in the brackeys game jam main page in the rules section they said without deleteing the main file, we can give out later versions for bug fixing until the rating ends, isnt that right?
It is! We've just assumed that we cannot update anything, but as it was a game-breaking feature we were allowed to fix it. Big thanks to you for pointing that out! And a lesson for us to read the rules more carefully :).
Awesome game! The idea mixed with the art direction is on point. My only feedback would be the cleaning up and hold E interactions are slightly tedious. Again, good job though!
We had such a similar idea! Yours was much more fleshed out, but regardless great work. Music choices were good, pixelart was solid. Great work!
This is a good entry, I liked it but to me it did feel a bit slow, like I was VERY begrudgingly doing chores. And I saw no problem with my sanity even when It dropped to zero.

Unfortunately the sanity shader does not work as expected in the html version - thanks for the report. It should cover the whole screen making it blurry - this works normally in the downloadable versions. Sorry for that! I think we could decrease the interaction time for each item to slightly increase the pace of the game. Thanks for your opinion!
That's a very nice entry, I liked the game but got stuck in a bug in the fridge where the vegetables clumped together :c.

This is the greatest interpretation of the theme I've seen so far lol! Though I did get softlocked because I put an aubergine on a strawberry and couldn't separate them anymore

Nice game, I did not read the whole itch.io page before I started playing so I had no idea what to do with the sanity. But overall it's a nice game :) Great soundtrack as well!
