In what way does your game fit the theme?
Time traveling explorer has the ability to rewind time (and also move forward in time)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, literally everything from scratch (except music), blank Unity project at the start, worst decision of my life.
No, seriously, making a good game from absolute scratch within a short time limit (less than 24 hour dev time) is impossible, man.

The game's art style and sound design are amazing. They add a really nice cartoony vibe to the game. I would recommend lowering the enemies health a bit tho as having more than 2 enemies spawn next to you makes it almost impossible to get away without being hit at least once.
interesting take. didn't really understand you could do multiple jumps in time (thought it was only past future) but I liked it :D
Pretty good game! Congrats! :)
Pretty nice game! The controls felt a bit weird but I did love the way you used the mouse to aim and fire.
Pretty good, game ! I enjoyed the theme and the gameplay was well-made!
great concept of rewinding! my only constructive feedback is about the enemy behavior, i think it needs a little bit of tweaking. but great overall!
I love the graphics and shooting, and the time travel is cool! Nice game for such a small amount of time!
Cool execution of the idea, although, I would have chosen a more distinct idea. A good game overall considering the amount of time you had :p. Hope you try mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722968
I like the concept, and still a good enough game despite your lack of time, I think there were a few too many enemies though...
had fun playing. nice submission.
Not bad at all but please fix those bugs, i really want to feel the whole experience but it's not allowing me :)
Fun little game. Its overall good, it would only need a bit more polish. But hey, Gamejams exist mainly for the experience, fun and creating that what comes into your mind. :)
I've also made everything from scratch and yes it can be really stressful. But the more you do/practice it, the faster and better you get! Keep going :d
Like the game! Like the idea of various timelines loading various obstacles, good work! Check out and rate my game too if you get a chance. Cheers! :)
Really like the cartoony art you have going there. Keep it up. Please rate my game as well : https://bluemerlegames.itch.io/orbi
I really like that the idea of going ahead in time as well as going back. The 3 timeline mechanic has a lot of potential!
This is the very first time on this jam that I am seeing an idea of travelling between dimensions so Theme 5/5. I really like this idea. Game overall is quite fun to play but movement sometimes feels choppy.
What I liked:
1) idea of those 3 dimensions is just perfect - I really like it
2) shooting and walking is quite satysfying to execute, but
3) hand-drawn vibe graphics
What I didn't like:
1) Player has some strange interactions with walls sometimes - he gets stuck on invisible corners. One way to fix it in Unity is to create a new Physics2D material and set its dynamic and static friction to 0 and then assign it to a player's box collider
2) At the beggining when there's a screen with some dialogue it doesn't cover up entire screen in height. It takes 100% width but only like 80% of height which isn't a big deal but would be nicer to cover up entire screen
Very nice game. I love time travel puzzle solving mechanics. Great work!
Cool game, with the exact amount of difficulty. The enemies movement was a bit buggy, though.
Fun game concept, although the levels look a bit same-y so it's hard to tell which timeline you're in, overall nice :)
Really liked this game concept. Reminded me a bit of Earthworm Jim. Does the time rewind / fast forward just move the terrain or am I doing it wrong?
Woah, that was quick.
To answer your question, technically, the time rewind/ fast forward brings you to another level, with the same level structure, but different props/npcs/enemy placement.
Ah, great thanks I get it now - like the art as well
