In what way does your game fit the theme?
'Conductor' is the project of a programmer in Japan, a musician in the Czech Republic, and an artist in the US who wanted to evoke a message of positivity; the message that in fact we are stronger together than we are apart. As the player connects strings of notes, musicians populate the screen and lend their melodies to the growing score. By moving the mouse, the player meditatively constructs a soundtrack that reaches its conclusion by utilizing every instrument available.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

Wow, just thank you for this! I am pretty bad at that kind of game. Nevertheless I think I learned a lot from it. Thanks again!

Who says games couldn't be art? This game is absolutely an incredible art piece, the music, the sound, the paint strokes, were all beautiful! I especially liked how there was a paint stroke when there was a slow stroke across the screen. Honestly have no feedback since this game is such a masterpiece!

Well let me just say... So far, my favorite game! 5/5. I loved the music, I loved the art. I mean I loved everything! Great job everyone! Keep up the good work!!

You really nailed the visual and audio aspect of the game, really love the doodly style, how the different strokes look, the best use of minimalism there is!

As previously mentioned, the notes you play are not always synced with the audio, and it's hard to figure out when you have to drag quickly / slowly, although when I got things wrong it didn't feel that much like a failure, so that did not impact the experience too much. A lot of emotion in this one, thank you for making it :)

Uff, ok, let me start with something, I think this is my favorite game in this Game Jam, it was just beautiful, you made me remember why I make games, and its to deliver beautiful messages with beautiful art in an interactive way that connects with the player.

The sound design is excelent, adds so much to the game and to what the player is feeling. And the mechanics are so smooth!

And oh my, the art! I love the animations! The design is a master piece

This is beautiful, you guys did a really great job on this. The art, gameplay, and music all work together to make a feel of hopefulness. I had a great time playing it, it was a nice break from all the complex, fast paced game I’ve been playing tonight. Thank you all for sharing!

Here’s my game if you’d like to give it a play.

Very interesting submission! I wasn't expecting something like this to be in the jam! At first I didn't know I was being penalized for missing notes, but quickly realized when people started disappearing.  My only suggestion would be to make a custom cursor, which would add to the immersion. Very good job though! I really enjoyed it :)

This was an amazing experience! You really feel like you are a part of the game and the music. I love how you see the scene evolve as you play, with more people and things entering the scene and the brightness increasing. One suggestion I have is to make the music notes hit with the music more. There were times when I wanted to move the mouse earlier than the notes appeared. Also add an indicator to where notes will appear so the player knows the general direction of the mouse before a full swing. Otherwise this was an amazing experience that really fits with the theme! Everything about the game is amazing and well done! Thank you for letting me stream it earlier!

I played this on stream earlier and really enjoyed it!

Only constructive feedback i can give is making the chime sfx a little louder cause it seems too quite.

This is beautiful. I love the slim and relaxing visual effects and how you created a game around music, that is not shabby, but really really lovely and shows due honour to the art of music.

Also it is very polished and gives a good feeling while playing :)

Really artistic game with a nice message, reminded me a lot of OSU. The only thing that would have made me like it more is making the “notes” blend better with the music so it feels like they have more weight to them.

Truly a beautiful game, nothing I could suggest could improve this work of art.

I loved this! Great pacing and just difficult enough where I only mastered it by the finale. Great art and music all around
