I love the walking on grass sound effect very nice :D I was a bit confused what to do at first but once I understood what was happening I loved the DLC bit, it’s very funny hehe. Sound effects for all the interactions are on point! I like the perspective of moving closer and further away from the camera its very unique. Pacing for the game was great! The art is lovely and the concept is well executed. Overall a wonderfully creative game that was very enjoyable to experience. Excellent work!

Great idea for the game! After so many jams' games reviewed and so many bugs, seeing music stops out really causing flashbacks and confusion :D I also love gameplay visual, especially perspective view in 2D to make it like 3D dimension, and music perfect for the "farm vibe". Good work all of you!

For one, I love a cheeky meta-game!
Two, the sfx design in this was stellar: wrapped up into a larger Expansion I'd see myself addicted to the gameplay loop

Okay took me a second to realize what I was doing, mostly because I didn't walk over to the greenhouse until I was holding a watering can so it did not seem like it was doing anything. Eventually figured it out and I loved it. The DLC aspect was funny and the evolving art style was really cool. Nicely done!

That's how they get ya, click-bait in, dreadful first drop and then drip feed you the rest - usually with a price tag involved but we ran out of time before we could put 'monetising' in!
WOW! That was such a cool experience! You caught me totally off guard with the simple art in the beginning. I was like "Oh cool it's a game about DLC, but surely this'll be the art for the whole game", but nope! I love that twist! Like others said, definitely a gamble to start off with a basic game and work towards something bigger but that's what I love about gamejam games. The whole concept was super well thought out and executed. It never overstayed it's welcome too, the new DLC popups were perfectly timed to not let you wait around more than needed. The whole game is super funny too. I laughed out loud multiple times. I really enjoyed the whole game overall, and don't really have any critique whatsoever, which means you all did a fantastic job! Thanks so much for participating in the jam :)

Starting with the worst version of the game at the beginning is a bold move in a jam, but this is well done and I think the game builds up its charm on the long end! The inclusion of bugs is hilarious !! Well done !

Nice art and game design. Watching the pumpkins expand and upgrade everything are satisfying. It makes me want to grow some pumpkins in real life.

Damn! what an interesting concept. Didn't understand at first but as the new DLCs were released I got it and enjoyed a lot. Great comedy game, so smart...
I also like the zoom on the charcter, hahaha. Small detail but it really feels good to go back and forth planting pumpkins

We were a bit nervous about leaving the start a bit rough because we didn't want to dissuade players from getting to all the really juicy content later, but we also wanted to set the bar appropriately low in line with the game concept; very glad you got it and we appreciate the feedback a lot <3

My favorite feature ( intended or not) was that you walk faster when going diagonally.

Somehow absurdly satisfying. Reminds me of Upgrade the Game from a long time ago. Clean graphics, great humour(it was so funny seeing the audio fix, seeing as my own entry has my music bugged). Amazing Game!

I misremembered the name, a quick google search shows that it was called upgrade complete 1/2/3. A web game during the flash era! I'm not sure if it's still as playable since I vaguely remember some games not working after flash died. You can definitely check it out though!
