Great choice for minimalist look and well designed puzzles. I definitely wanted further stages that upped the challenge, such as moving lasers, portals, you know the usual puzzle game stuff. Very well done.

All the audio files are free-to-use assets but most of them have been reworked specifically for this game
How did you incorporate the theme "INSIDE OUT"?
By switching between 2 layers, the air and the ground. The air can become the ground and vice versa

Very nicely polished for a game jam game.
The timing window for the high jump could have been more forgiving. I often built up a lot of momentum before I was suddenly taken out by clicking slightly too late or too early, which I found rather frustrating. Otherwise this is a fun game .
Honestly a really fun game to play. It almost doesn't feel like a jam game, but more like an actual published game. The only stuff that makes it not seem this way are the feeling of the movements, which are fine but don't feel very smooth, i guess because of the lack of coyote time for jumping, and well the smaller amount of levels which is perfectly fine for a jam game. Gameplay wise, it's really fun, and not too challenging making it not frustrating and just enjoyable. Level design wise, i'm really impressed since it always feel clear and not too linear either.
So, congrats on this game, i feel like it'll be high in the top games x)
My feedback for NATAИ:
What your game does well:
The core mechanic ties with the theme 'inside out' really well. My first time switching layers was my favorite 'wow' moment of the game
The jumping and movement feels good. A great way that you built on your players' core actions was to combine switching layers with jumping to build more momentum.
The visuals are simple and also have the function of inverting themselves. You were also able to teach the player how to play through your level design.
What the game doesn't do well:
The character jump doesn't have any noticeable Coyote time. In general that's not a requirement for any platformer, but I definitely felt cheated out of my jump at times in this one.
After the first 5 or so levels, aside from the lasers, the gameplay got stale. Each level required the same things of the player. They didn't get more difficult, nor did they introduce much new.
Areas of Opportunity:
I may have my criticisms, but I'm still keeping in mind we had 9 days to make our game. For things that this game lacks, you did do a tremendous job of developing an MVP and can certainly continue to iterate it. The game has a lot of potential to be something bigger and better.
There's potential with making more levels revolving around your jump switching (I noticed one at the end). Taking it a step further, there are opportunities to make obstacles that also affect jump switching (like gravity, wind, and/or time manipulation).
I hope this feedback helps!
wow this is super well done!
one of the best ideas of how to make the theme work! I also liked the level design a lot - I was really sad when I finished the game as I would have loved to play more :)
some small things that would be cool would be things like: Coyote time and maybe make the swapping between inside and out a bit faster to make it overall feel more fluid
A great implementation of the theme! Really loved the level design and minimalistic nature of the game. Could've introduced the laser obstacle a little earlier to have gameplay variation as not a lot of people will play the submissions for that long. But all in all, a really strong contender...Loved it!😊
Wow, what a great entry! A strong idea and a flawless execution, it's super polished, it's a fun brainteaser with perfect atmosphere, congrats!
"Take this sphere to end your journey" <-- that's my proof that I finished all the games. Couldn't take a screenshot because it took me to the first level haha.
Easily one of the top 3 games from this jam, master piece. Nothing else to say.
GENIOUS.
Probably the best fitting game for the theme in this whole gameJam.
Insane execution on the gameplay, it flows like water and feels very smooth.
Also, there are a very good amount of levels for something made in 9 days, well done.
Well executed and fun to play - stylish presentation, the visual simplicity works well for a game like this.
Fantastic work. The smooth controls, minimalistic graphic choice, and soundtrack all contribute to a very immersive gamefeel. The concept is well executed with fun levels, and the hold-jump mechanic is satisfying to use. The only things I'd like to see are a level select screen, and a win animation instead of an abrupt stop which takes out of the immersion a little bit. I can see a lot of potential in the game, both in the puzzle direction and in the platformer direction utilizing the hold-jump mechanic to smoothly sail across landscapes. Great job!

This was an amazingly polished and well executed game. The mechanic is unique and opens a lot of puzzle solving opportunities. The intro was really neat, and the minimalistic art style matched so well and was very easy to understand. Well done!
WOW The main mechanic is cool! very polished puzzle platformer with IMMENSE amounts of atmosphere i just wish the music fit more (The intro to the menu was SO COOL!!) the idea of this game makes me want to have an rpg with a main mechanic like this
overall: 8/10 :) (i wish you had to use the long jump more)
Oh boy, I spent way too much time on that intro, way more than I should have... SO HAPPY you liked it!
Really glad you enjoyed time and effort I put in polishing the overall experience.
Regarding the slingshot, I feared people would struggle with it so I took (maybe too much) time to force it for level completion. But yes, that's definitely the more fun mechanic to use in my game.
Thank you for playing and for the feedbacks!
Fun puzzle platformer with a great atmosphere, I was impressed by the amount of levels in the game. The game also perfectly fits the theme in a unique way, great job.
Super polished game, really enjoyed the unique mechanics like jumping higher while holding left click, well done!
The atmosphere... just wow everything about this game gives me this surreal kinda like inception vibe, the gameplay is engaging and your core mechanic is something i can really get behind. Great job!
