It is a very Smart game! The Art style is full of nice details. I think this game can also can be a great Mobile game
Hey! Pretty solid entry! Gameplay is straightforward. I like the amount of different cards designed and i always love the roguelite style of gameplay. Card games are one of my favs. There were times in early levels where i passed some turns having nothing to do, but this went away in later bigger stages.
Good job!
LOVED IT. I wish it had a save function. Some of the RNG that I was dealt with was scary, but I made it through. Made me think! xD
Woah, this game's really something! The mood is amazing, the gameplay feels smooth and the sound is up to par. Got the nods to some clichés in almost every card, it's funny. If I must say something, it's a bit hard to get a good deck ready before playing a level at least once. I really love to see more entries made with Godot, so thank you, and kudos on your entry!
It's a really interesting game, I love the deck-building puzzle mechanics!
It can be a little rough, incorporating RNG into puzzle games... there were some levels where if I didn't have the exact right cards turn 1, the monsters would reach the exit by turn two or three. And these were fairly early levels, so it's not like I had 12 copies of each card to stuff my deck with. At the very least, options to restart a level early would be nice.
I love the graphics & sound design, though the game seemed to chug a little, especially as levels were loaded (even in the downloadable version)
Thanks for playing our game! There actually is an option to to restart the level. Press p to pause and the pause menu give you the option to restart the level, visit the shop and even go back to your inventory to rebuild your deck.
Fun puzzler with lots of features. I mostly missed the option of saving the game. The sound and music could have been more exciting. The graphics is very neat. The difficulty is not too high in the beginning at least. I didn't get very far so I'm not sure what happens later. Seems like a well balanced game.
Surprisingly good game, congrats.
Very fun game, do enjoy having the smaller deck size for more consistency and startegy for deck building. Different enemy times were also interesting to manage. Very well done! I might think about having an option for later in the game having a choice to expand your deck size, so that there is still incentive to get new cards and use a drawing strategy.
This is a really cool game. I love how the strategy keeps getting more and more complex the more you play. This is one of the best games in the jam I've played so far.
Dear BadCop
Your game is so much better then I expected and I watched alot of it during the streams, but it changed alot with the correkt "models and grafics" - very VERY well made!
I just failed at the level with the 6 slimes thu the randomness of cards and bad choices of cards I bought... but yea can't help that tho - is my mistake ;)
And I saw the nose! XD
Overall an extremely fun game! The tooltips explaining everything was great as well as the guy in the corner following the mouse. Seemed to take some aspects of roguelites as well as some aspects of a puzzle game which seemed a bit off as you can screw yourself with a bad deck and then not be able to pass some of the later levels but other than that the mechanics and balancing worked great
I really liked the way the levels are built. Looks like there's been a lot of thought put into designing the challenges and that shows. Theres a level that has a bit of a high difficulty spike but that aside the game plays really well and keeps you on your toes. I'll definetly complete it after the stream.
This was amazing! It feels like you put a LOT of thought behind the concepts, and it really shows. There was one level where three enemies were introduced, I think, which was quite a steep step difficulty wise. Other than that, a remarkable job!
Oh and as a non native speaker, I had trouble understanding the idiom haha. But that's not your fault of course! ^^
Such a nice game, congrats team!
Yesss this is a great deck builder puzzle game! Really polished, the mechanics work well, the art and music are nice. I couldn't stop playing, really nice job!
Feels really polished! What I especially like about this game is the UX and the tutorial. I was kind of hesitant and expecting to need to read a wall of text to understand this one. But with the concise intro and all the tooltips etc it was very easy to understand. And lot’s of fun! Still don’t quite get what exactly the caterpillar can do. Seems so strong.
Best one I've played so far, it's awesome, it kept me hooked until the end and it gave me a lot of satisfaction. Please keep me updated in case you decide to expand it post jam
This was a lot of fun to play and very polished! Even the gravekeeper's face followed the mouse. Great game!
vary impressive!
the game is vary well polished ,the puzzle+ deck building system is also quite fun.
You guys made this in 30 days... I've only played a little bit so far but it already feels like a fully released game.
Pros: Love the art style, music fits the theme. Generally very polished inside the actual game. I do enjoy the main mechanic and how you've built upon it (different enemies, adding in the adventurer to spice things up).
Cons: Doesn't save your progress in the browser version, Settings menu is a bit janky (one of the settings doesn't work). More levels would be good (although obviously thats due to the time limit).
I'll definitely play this one more later! You guys should work on this more after the Jam is over.
