Good audio and art, but had some issues with the game, like not being able to move sometimes, which is only fixed by a reload of the page, the house hitbox being weird (Those 2 points were already addressed), or an old lady being stuck in the fence at the bottom (Don't know how that happened). Unlike others, I could not survive for the whole 2 minutes, maybe I am too greedy :P

I like the theme interpretation!
However, I couldn't move after failing, so I always had to restart the game :/ The screen isn't sized correctly on my screen as well, so unfortunately I can't read the black box in the top left corner. Also the button art doesn't really fit the pixel art look.
Thanks! Yes, I used these:

Looks and sound pretty nice but the gameplay itself has some quite major issues.
The camera lags behind too much so you usually can't see where you're going. Usually it's the opposite that should happen that the camera would "predict" the movement and look forward giving you more time to react to what it coming.
The level layout doesn't make much sense. It's filled with death traps so it's best to just boringly hang in the open start area and collect stuff from there. Doesn't look like there is any downside to doing that either as the corn rupees seem to spawn there too just as much.
The hitboxes for everything were all messed up and made playing feel not that great. Especially when running away from the ladies as you might get stuck any time. Or get hit by their massive hitbox. It just does not feel fair. It's often the best to keep damaging hitboxes way smaller than they visually are to allow more close calls and more of a fair feel. The player needs to be 100% sure they got hit when they do. And for the objects, you really need to think where the base of the object is and place the colliders accordingly to still allow walking behind them.
The hitbox issue was also very bad when trying to collect the corn. It felt so damn bad when you miss out a red one even though you're right on top of it and it just decides to despawn. Their size should be increased by quite a lot (they're the main target of the game anyway) and their hitbox even more so.
The time and points labels are kinda hard to read due to text color choices. They really bleed to the background too much due to the lack of contrast difference. The font didn't really fit the art style either but that wasn't really that much of a big deal.
The scoring system is kind bland and boring. It's really up to luck what color corn are available to you and there is pretty much nothing you can do but hope for the best. The risk factor of the ladies was completely ignored in this aspect and that could be incorporated to the scoring somehow. Maybe getting more points the closer you were to the ladies when grabbing the corn or something along those lines. Would introduce more risk vs reward aspect.
Anyways, good job! ๐
Wow, thanks so much for the detailed feedback.
I agree on all the points, tbh the jam was like less than a week for me instead of 1 month (you can check the github to see how little activity and how messy it was lol), but that's no excuse, it lacks a lot of polish and fixes as you said. Definitely gonna consider all the points you mentioned on the mobile version I plan on publishing. Thanks once again!
Fun game! I like the funky music, maybe next time try to make it loops without a gap! Very fun to be chased by old ladies
Made it to 203 points.
Doesn't seem like I have insentive to move close to areas where ladies are as plenty of corn spawns in the midle of the stage. Maybe you could add extra grain spawns on corners so I have a reason to go for riskier play.
Really cute and relaxing game! Those old ladies really pounce on you out of nowhere haha. Visuals, music and gameplay really work well together :) Nice work!
Game is very fun. It would be nice if you were able to edit sound in the game
Good solid simple fun. Love the art style and gameplay - enjoyable to lure around the farmers for a bit extra depth. On the feature wishlist could be higher value collectables spawning more often in more risky places (eg in that pen with the farmer inside with only 1 entrance) but I get that could have been hard in the timeframe. Already good fun nonetheless!
cute game, I haven't made it to 2 minutes yet though. Those nanas are quick!
