I really like the drawings, each fish having its details, haha. It's a very peaceful and entertaining game. I enjoyed it a lot. Good job^^

really like the art and soft atmosphere for this game , good job :D

Love the atmosphere that you've created in this game with the hand drawn art and the calming music. The game is really relaxing and the fishing mechanics feel pretty good. I do wish there was more visual feedback though when you've got a fish on your hook, because sometimes the text that appears was not enough for me to register that I've caught a fish. Maybe something like a screen shake or a change in the color/style of the text could be better? But anyway, I still enjoyed playing this game a lot. Great work!

I loved the game. Very fun to play. I liked the artistic style and the sound effects. Good job. I believe that a few more details would make the game even more fun: including some more effects to increase the immersion of the player fishing, perhaps some shadows of fish walking through the water, perhaps a small animation of the fish "fighting" with the line after he takes the bait; Another thing you could have is some way to spend the money, perhaps buying different types of fishing rods, which can allow you to catch different types of fish.

Quite relaxing! Surprised to see so many different types of fish.

UI is super clean, the music is quite calming and visuals are quite pleasant.

Made around $18k too

Nice fishing mechanic, good variability to the fish and their pricing structure.  I ended up around 17k money which was....well there wasn't anything to do with it but I got it :-P.  Only thing I can think of that would have been nice with the cash without making more mechanics happen is maybe buying things that are part of the scenery from then on, like a boat, or if there was a fishing rod shown a cooler/novelty fishing rod, etc.

The vibes in this game are immaculate. I love the visuals and I really, really love the music. It's super relaxing which I think is important for a fishing game.

The gameplay itself was very calming. I think it could benefit from sort of indication of what fish you caught without going into the inventory, and maybe some sort of visual to go with casting and reeling. That being said, your sound design for the rod sounds was great.

Also, I got a good chuckle catching a marlin and seeing my money go up $20000 from like $300.

Awesome job!

I could cheat the bite mechanic by constantly clicking in intervals. Something like 1 seconds.

The reeling mechanic was just right. Not too easy but not an unforgiving 1 frame click.

I wish selling the fish and money also had some game mechanics to be used.

Agreed. A nice game. I thought I was going to get bored... but nope. I want to catch all the fishies! I could see this being a fun game in a mobile platform.

A fun and relaxed fishing game, open a drink and click away. I liked the reel-in mechanic, a great way to implement it.

The music and sound were good, though my system was having playback issues (Dropping out sound) until I let the game sit running for a while.

I caught a Mahi-Mahi and now I'm craving seafood xD.  Nice work on the visuals & audio and setting the mood.  One thing I think it could use is a little feedback on the cast, like a little splash effect for the line going into the water (that way you don't have to do a full fishing rod/animation :)).

I was a little thrown by the circle/clicking at first because I didn't realize you could wait and read it, so I sort of panic-clicked the first few times and was not able to read the text LOL.  But once I read it, I became a wealthy angler!

This game is a good example of a simple concept executed great. It's very much like a few fishing mechanics I've played before, but it's satisfying to play. The process of weighing is like unwrapping a present. I wish that the game told me WHAT fish I caught though when I catch them, so I don't constantly have to poke at the inventory when I catch a particularly difficult one. A small trophy system wouldn't go amiss either, like listing the biggest one you've caught, but really well done.

Thank you so much for the review and the suggestions! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! If we continue to work on the game after this I will definitely be implementing both of your suggestions.
