  • Who doesn't love playing with radio-controlled toys? I certainly do and this was no exception. I loved how you had to literally use the controller to make them do things, and swapping controller swapped the toy. The camera zoom feature was very helpful and I enjoyed my time controller the race car, digger and helicopter. I still think the race car was the best of all though, especially with its sound effect. Perfectly on-theme, too! And really nice visuals. Great stuff.

The game is very fun. A true sandbox, you can win by doing anything ! This version is way more stable that your developpement version that you linked on discord, it was fluid on my mac. Congratulations !

Great game, really well made and polished!

funniest "remote control cat feeding and ming dynasty vase hating simulator" i ever played ;-)

really a cool game with great graphics!

Really solid game overall The graphics and audio made for a very funky and relaxing experience that fit the game well. Using the remote to control things was a really neat take on this type of gameplay too. I did find it a bit tricky to figure out when I was supposed to use one vehicle over the others and I had a hard time making jumps with the car, I ended up getting the car wedged in a way that would prevent me from continuing. Otherwise had a ton of fun so great job!

Thanks for your submission!

For a moment I had to double-check if I was not on Miniclip playing “Little Rocketman”. Great concept for the theme.

I had fun goofying with the helicopter

There were lags on the PC and the default resolution was too high for non-fullhd displays, but it works well on a smartphone, good nice graphics, good menu, gameplay, everything is balanced. Add 20-30 levels and you will have a finished product, IMHO

The clean graphics and audio makes me suspect if this is really a jam game (~sussss)

being able to move the position of the controller would be great.

I like the matter and phaser logo on the splash screen. I really like the zoom mechanics and the logo design.

Makes me wanna learn inkscape seriously.

Developer

Made from scratch for this jam. I always use version control to track my work. I actually started with 'powertools', did a bunch of art for that, and that became 'powertools & powertoys' and then I descoped and it was just 'powertoys'. One day I may get around to implementing solving levels with powertools and powertoys.

I've also had a lot of practice with inkscape. And I mean a lot! I was using the first version twenty years ago! 😱

I did consider making the controller free floating and allowing the user to move it where they wanted. Maybe in the next update.
I do hope you learn inkscape, it's an awesome tool and it's really good for creating big graphic assets fast.

Really cool concept! Graphics are great and everything felt very polished. I like how you included the button to right the toy as well cause the helicopter just keeps flipping over haha. Well done!!

Pretty interesting concept. I also like the clean graphics. The controls are hard!

The game cooks in every aspect . The submissions are very well made. Tough competition

Really enjoyed playing this game! It would be awesome if the controls could be a bit bigger on mobile. Thanks for the nostalgia 🚁👍🚜🔊

Cool  mechanichs  and clever take on the theme. Nice art stile, very neat! Reminds me of Trials and games like that!

I like the controls and the design of the game, beat all 6 levels. It's easy to get soft-locked so I really appreciate the reset button and the vehicle flip buttons!

cool concept dude

Looked good and loved the idea. It could be a little more caotic.

Had some issues playing only with the mouse but I imagine you made it for mobile.

Controlling the different toys was a very cool concept!

Controls and physics felt good, good puzzles, nice job!

Your artwork is outstanding!, really good Inkscape skills, the fact that we can change controls was a nice touch.

Very creative. The artwork looks very good, but the game is a little less extreme for the game with vehicles.
