Wow, this was hilarious! I loved the "no.. not that key" sequence. Had me in stitches. I *really* hope you continue working on this and add sound effects. Keep up the phenomenal work!
Good game! Funny tank, and dialog with the author! I found that it is still possible to make jump if space is pressed but it barely visible.:) Looking forward to the full release!
Hats off for the UI ! Like the game and looking forward to a full release , the eyes of the tank look very cute and would have liked if the level was bigger and you hade more weapons cuz the level is just very small. Also something i would recommend is procedural generation probably!

Neat little game you have here or let's say the start of a great game! The movement of the enemies in response to the player is great, the projectile arcs are very cool and the thing I love the most ist that projectiles interact with each other! Hope you find a way to make it so that standing close to enemies and spamming attack is not the best strategy! °^^
thanks for the feedback! Yes, standing close to enemies and spamming is a problem, I think there are a few ways to fix it:
I like all these ideas! To make it even better leave some of the enemy behaviour you have at the moment in so that people can find the "exploit" and then when they keep trying to use it you confront them with an enemy that totally outplays them! I bet that would be a great moment :D

Game is nice! I love all the text animation and UI effort!
However, at least for me, the jump is broken for some reason. I can't jump at all, the tank makes a slight movement and then sticks to the ground. So, unfortunately, I can't go too far into the game now :)
Also, maybe the pause should stop player movement or interaction?

there is no jump - you don't have to jump to complete the game. I maybe left the jetpack in even though it never really worked as intended, but you don't need it to progress. Shoot the green block.
Yes I got it, and finished the game! The gameplay is really fun! Hope you support this a little more, add new weapons, and build a larger level! The game deserves that!

Only downside I saw is the green block to activate the bridge seems a bit wonky? It didn't work for me the first time, causing me to fall to my death :)
It seems like the boomstick weapon doesn't activate it, honestly that was thrown in so last minute that I'm surprised it worked the second time you tried it 😂
That tracks, I used the bounce cannon the second time around and that worked!

Well done! I would like to see more. The weapons you had thus far were certainly interesting. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but the boomstick can't activate the green block. That threw me off for a minute but I got there eventually. If it was intentional, I recommend making it more clear that only certain weapons can activate blocks. Great work otherwise!
ah! Someone actually found a bug, damn it. That's not intentional, but I know why it happens lol. I'll fix that shortly :)

Quite a polished game! I found a bug where you can fall through the map, but yeah my main problem with the game is that its wayyy too short, i mean i was expecting like 12 weapons from the select weapon screen lol. Hope it expands for the metroidvania jam release!

no outstanding bugs i could find. out side being able to spam the bouncy shot once I got my hands on it. kinda cheesed the final bit
"no bugs" is what I like to hear 😉 it's not necessarily true, but I'm glad you didn't find them 😂
The bouncy shot is definitely overpowered, I'll likely rebalance it for the next update!
