Cool game! Reminded me of Fez. Guess I'd suggest it could be more zippy, rotate view could be nearly instant, character could jump and fall faster, the fires could cycle more quickly, some things like that would make the package feel more responsive

I played your game till the end, had lots of fun and was positively surprised how many levels you have implemented. Keep up the good work! If I could add one thing it would probably be movable enemies that you can jump upon like goombas for example.

Developer

Thanks! The enemies were one thing that was on my ToDo list, just didn't get the time to implement it.

Very fun game, I think the challenge level was well balanced.  I liked that you could rotate around and follow your character around the towers. Great job!

Nice game! Loved the music and art! If you have time to try ours we would be happy: https://astral-creation-studio.itch.io/your-princess-is-in-another-dimension

Very casual and chill game. Nice voxel concept!

Nice little game! The aesthetics are really good, and the music is nice! A few tips: feedback when you get hurt first, it's really unnoticeable. Also, make sure to adjust the environmental hazards hitboxes, they're really easy to avoid, just by walking on the edge of the level. I think the game would benefit A LOT from faster movement. Also, the perspective change idea is nice, but you could have exploited it better. I needed to change it only a couple of times to understand where to go.

Overall, a nice, clean game, nice done!

Appreciate the feedback! Just updated the game with a visual feedback for damage and adjusted the collider size for the traps.

Good idea with nice aesthetics.

As others pointed out, some feedback when getting hurt would be nice. Some sound, for example. Big like for camera rotation

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Added a better hit effect and increased the sound effect for it now.

Very nice idea and mechanics!

The only thing I can say is it would be good to have some feedback when getting hurt.  Even so, it is a very fun game, and the type of game I like playing.  The music is spot on, and the sound effects are good.  A very original game!  Congratulations!!

Loved the premise, the look of it, the strategy needed to proceed etc.
Could have done with being able to go quicker, the slow pace of the player frustrated me. And as other have said, bit of feedback to what hurts. I walked through 3 fires before realising I shouldn't :P. And what I thought was a purple heart I couldn't pick up and I think hurt me too.
Few simple tweaks would make for a really fun game that could easily transport to mobile etc or something. I like the different level colour themes too :).

Thanks for the feedback! Added a better hit effect and increased the sound effect for it now. I also just removed the crystals, they were apart of the level design and didnt actually do anything, but they were indeed confusing

Fantastic central mechanic! Responsive controls too, and I love the run animation.

Great work!

Simple but very effective! The mechanic and the environment play perfectly into each other and they fit well in the theme. The only thing I felt missing was some sort of feedback when getting hurt, a knockback + sound effects would be great!

Nice!  Everything is very well-polished, controls work well.  I expected the rotation to be a little awkward, but it was completely fine and made the player feel more in control.  Great job!

Very well done, love the puzzle-box feel. I especially liked the touch of having to turn the level around to see certain objects and paths that would be hidden otherwise. One very minor criticism is that there was a bit of downtime while the level was spinning. I wished I could move my character while the level was turning, that or have the level turn much faster. Other than that, great entry!

Good game. Nice graphic. The music is also nice.

I think the firepit needs a visual warning. Rotating camera with mouse will also be great. The quit button freezes the webgl build.

I really liked the idea of rotating environment, reminded me of Captain Toad!

These environments are nice~! I especially liked walking behind the lava waterfall. Really nice aesthetic. Rotating the camera was pretty smooth, too.

Fun game. The mechanic of rotating the view definitely has lots more potential. The first level feels a bit long compared to the later ones.

I like the concept!
Maybe if you want, you could upload a build of the game so the game doesn't go so slow, because it's a different game than the one in the video.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I did just upload a Windows\Mac\and Linux build now for those who want to play those.

Just left you a return rating! Note I already played your game like 2 days ago.

thanks!
