Wow, really impressive job. I was amazed at how cohesive your assets were even though you used asset packs. Awesome work on the story!

Good job finishing your game. I like the look of it. It has a Gameboy color kind of style. The game is very atmospheric and really puts you in that mood. I tried to "win", but couldn't figure out how. I fished and watered the plants, but didn't see the point... But maybe that was intentional? That the equilibrium was inevitable, but I kept trying to fight it. Haha. Got me to feel feels. Good job!

I admire your spirit. Thanks!

Super unique submission, a nihilistic oldschool RPG. I'm impressed with how well you established this setting and tone. I do agree with the comment further down about how it would be nice for the story to branch into existentialism instead of dwelling in nihilism (in other words, let some sense of meaning come through in the gameplay or story), but nonetheless, very impressive! Great job!

Good point. The Em character was supposed to represent a more determined attitude. I would love to expand on her events. Originally I wanted the game to have more choice to prolong other's lifetime, maybe risk your own lifetime for sake of others, make others happy, sad, or just being selfish etc. But had to cut down due to time constraints xD. Maybe we'll further expand on the game post-voting, thanks for playing and feedback!

Wow! Finally an RPG among the submissions!  I love the GB art style, it looks cool. And I liked the mini games and paroles :)

Enjoyed it. Great work. Aesthetically pleasing.

It's a good philosophical game that invite players to think. But ideally it'd be nice to give some sense of meaning into the player's action. Though I understood that the premise is just "the end is here, it's pointless to do anything".

Well the aesthetic is nicely done in capturing the old games. I'm kinda miss the GBA era a bit.

Nihilistic harvest moon at the heat death of the universe! loved it- simple, but effective storytelling, good exercise in less is more!

very well done!

I love the art and atmosphere of the game. The music really tells the story well.
One thing I noticed tho was the lack of direction for the player. like there could be an objective or something like that.
