Fantastic cohesive art style and the general tone of the game made it feel like a brand new classic NES game. I really liked the little things like crossing through the title screen and the trash can animations. Those cat battles were tough! They might need a little tweaking for balance, but maybe I just need to get good.
I love the style of the game and the art , the game is original good job
The enemy cat always destroy me xd , really pretty game
Fun game and lovely aestethic! Although after the third time I fell down I felt like I was playing getting over it XD
It REALLY makes you feel like a stray cat. I loved it all around, fantastic job with this one!!
This was wonderful!! The controls, cute retro aesthetics, reactive sound design & little features (like the title popping up & startling the cat) all just made it such a lovely experience. :) Felt like a leap of faith each time I jumped off screen on from the ledges haha. thank you for creating this!
The controls lack some depth, the AI can loop at times and the screen transitions are trial and error for the most part. Putting that aside, the music is super engaging, the animations are great and I just had a lot of fun playing Gataria!
Very cute game!! I liked it! I got anihilated by enemy cat…
Hilarious and brilliant style!
My only problem was the way the screens change, it was a bit unfriendly
Definitely 5* on the aesthetics. This pixel art style is definitely up my alley, would love to collaborate with you sometime!
The transition from game start to the game logo appearng midway is very cool, along with all the minor touches (e.g. shaking thrashcans with corresponding sfx etc.).
Only issue was with the "combat". Perhaps because cats have short paws, the reach was slightly punishing to land hits with. And I didnt know how to progress from there.
But overall, a charming entry based on art style alone.
Loved the game, specially the unexpected pop ups. Really well made. Well done!
loved the art, when i started i didnt think i will become a cat killing climber cat.
It was fun to play. I needed time to figure out what to do to defeat those cats, tho

Loved the art and the story, really well presented. Cats can be quite annoying to defeat or just kill themselves. Worth going through for the ending though.
Nicely done! I loved the game. The art and music I think worked puRfect for this kind of game.
loved this game, made me remember the lion king game. One thing I noticed is that the next scene is not visible at all so don't know whether to jump or walk or what to expect on the other side.
Demais cara! Boas memórias de jogar Alley Cat no monitor preto e branco do meu pai 🤣
Incrível o que você conseguiu fazer em pouco tempo. Tanta atenção aos detalhes. E a fêmea ainda é tricolor.
THIS GAME IS SO GOOD! How was the AI made? it was really hard to beat sometimes lol loved the art, the concept is really good, just wish the combat was a little smoother (found it hard to turn around and hit at a specific time). The audio in general was also quite good, congrats!
Also how the game title was presented! yessss
Glad you liked it! When creating the game, the battle was the last thing I implemented, so it can be very janky sometimes. The enemy cats use mainly the same control code as the player, and its AI just “presses the buttons” that they want. So it is based on a state machine, It can chase the player, attack, then run away (and sometimes fall while chasing or running away, lol)
Loved the aesthetics
Very nice job.
