Good game! I really like the music I think it fits perfectly. The art/animation and effects are really nice too. The story to set the pace of the game works well. Awesome job, congrats!
Very nice work, especially the artwork. Had hard times at the beginning to get the game mechanics because I thought I was able to adjust the angle while holding the mouse button. So I had to restart three times. An option to skip the death sequence would be a good addition to the game loop, be able to restart faster. My son would love to see rocks on the ground :) Keep up the good work!

The mechanics of throwing the rock at the right angle and intensity were cool, the controls felt pretty smooth, and I liked the way everything looked, nice job on it.

Wow I lost track of time testing this game out. Love the game mechanics and the story concept! Even the fact that you had different endings when you lost or held out was great. Great game, you're doing something right with this one!

The animations are so smooth! And I love the way the player has to "dig around" to find rocks haha. Good story and unique gameplay!

Fun little game. I liked the initial story setup and the ammo management components. I think it would be neat if you could shoot at power-ups that spawn in the air, to encourage trying different shooting angles. Good job!

I like the art of the game, and the story is engaging. I appreciate the progressive increase in difficulty. However, I noticed that the settings for the volume didn't get saved. But overall, everything is good.

Nice game! I love me a good "archery" style shooter.
Your pixel art was great! The animations were very well done. Only critique I'd have is to shorten the rounds a bit, as they became a bit long. Especially the first round. Once I found the right angle to headshot the wolves at full power the moment they appeared, I just kinda left my mouse there and waited for them to appear. The birds showing up in wave 2 helped stop that though, as now I had to move around.
Overall great job though! Great submission!

- You are absolutly right, the waves are so long and players may feel boring before reaching the best parts!
- For the first wave, I made it like that on purpose just so the player get used to the controls, but it has to be shorter for sure!

A nice, simple style to this one! The animations were actually better overall than I would have expected from the screenshots, so well done with that. I noticed in your reply to montheponies that you had shot-cancelling initially, and then took it out to make the game harder. That's a perfectly legitimate reason, but if you can't decide whether to keep it or leave it, why not make it an option in the form of a higher difficulty? There are several other things you could lump in with this idea to forge an easier or harder game experience, and then leave the player to decide for themselves how they want to experience the game.
Oh, I am glad you liked the animations since they were a total pain haha..
For the second point, that is a wonderfull idea, giving the player to make the choice is indeed a great choice and has more flexibility!

Gameplay is engaging, and the the story is a good motivator to keep on :) Art style and enemy variety is really good. Not a huge deal but a indicator for the trajectory of the rocks can be beneficial yet maybe it is design choice for a more challenging gameplay. Nice job!

Actually when I was making the game at first, I had an indicator for the trajectory of the rocks, but that just make the game so eazy, that is when I changed it with an arrow. But who knows, it may be better if I let the trajectory :)

love the story. but once you set your aim, there is not much to it. loved the wave system, it added variety. couldnt get past the goats. very much attention to detail especially the cutscene in the ending.
