Neat game, I love the low poly art style and perfect use of the theme and great for near to Christmas. I had a lot of fun in this and found I bobbed my head to the beat in the music while I delivered presents. Good Job.
Happiest game I played in this jam and it was really fun :D
Good job!
A very fun game, I had a great time.
Respect the theme, soon Christmas in addition.
The music on the menu is relaxing and the others are just as cute.
Bravo <3
very nice and relaxing game to play, i had a good time. Good Job!
Very cool game, i really enjoyed the ambience present and had a great to play with this little santa.
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it :D
Nice and relaxing, I also loved how cute everything looked, gave me a looking into a snow globe vibe :)
Thank you :D I think I forgot to place some snow effects. That would be a great addition hahaha thanks for the idea of a snow globe :D
Very cute game love the design, I found it very therapeutic to deliver the presents! I was at first dreading the third level when I saw there were 20 presents randomly scattered around but as others have said you did a great job in their placement.
Hahahaha thank you :) The level was designed to be 15 but I placed 20 so that it is doubled from level 2 hahahaha.
I really enjoyed playing your game, level three in particular as I felt the way the presents were placed around the level felt natural and never hindered my exploration but rather supported. Overall the game is really good and I enjoyed my time playing it.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game :D Awesome that you had the chance to explore level 3 hahaha. I forgot to animate the rabbits there though (which I planned to be the enemies)
I really enjoyed playing this. It was almost a meditation until the last level and the last gift! lol. I think you could have kept it shorter and still had as much impact to be honest. For a jam I would have stuck with one level and used the spare time to refine. I thought of a mechanic as I played that could up the anti. Avoid awake children spotting you type vibe. It could have a very gentle stealth element to it. All in all I very much enjoyed playing it.
I'm happy that you enjoyed it :D Yeah thanks for that feature suggestion and it would be a great addition in the game. Stealthy Santa Claus hahahaha
Nice and charming game. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Second level seemed a little boring to me, but third level got me immersed. Good job!
Thank you :D Level 2 was originally designed to be hard (very short time) so that the player will be able to find the fastest way to deliver the gifts but got carried out of thinking the player must be able to do it easily hahaha. But thanks for the feedback :D
Cute game !
The only thing is it's maybe a bit too easy, but balancing a game is always so hard!
Yeah I adjusted the timer so many times to make it balanced but I got too generous because when I tried playing it there is still 1 minute or 30 seconds left to complete all levels so I increased it to make it easier. Guess I must make it harder to make it more challenging hahaha. Thank you :)
cute little game
This is a nice, cute game with solid mechanics and variance in levels! My only complaint would be that its a Christmas game in November haha! Good job!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA Not in our country HAHAHAHA. We even celebrate Christmas starting September so November is too late for us.
Haha what a cute game :D The levels are designed great ! The only problem is repetetivnes of the game. Maybe add some hazards and power ups to keep the game interesting. Overall good job !
Thank you. I already had the plan to add hazards and enemies in the game but I am afraid to add that during the last day as that might destroy the build hahaha. But yeah, I can see some repetitiveness but to at least solve this, I have the gifts starting to scatter around the map. Thanks for pointing this out :D
This was a really cute game, I loved the style of the game and the gameplay was interesting. Well done.
Thank you very much!! :D
WOAHH!! This game was so cute! Loved all the designs and music was great and I never found it annoying. Game did get a little repetitive but was super fun racing against the clock and making it just in time. A map would be nice which points to where I need to deliver presents to (Santa knows all!). Great game overall and very enjoyable!
Thank you for the feedback :D Yeah a minimap containing points will be great for this. Will take note of that for me to study on how to implement that. I started the draft for level 4 introducing enemies and hazards but the time I have did not permit it and for me to avoid major bugs before deadlines hahaha. I'm glad that you enjoyed it :D
Really fun game!! Wasn't sure where to go with the presents at first but once I found the target circles and got into the groove it was quite fun to play. Good job!!
Thank you. Yeah someone also placed that feedback about where to place the presents and the probable solution is to add minimap hahaha.
Definitely something like that would be usefull. Good job though anyway it was fun!
The game is simple and lovely, I loved the camera to bump a little in the direction where I move. The only thing need a bit of polish is the volume bar in the settings menu: it change the volume only for the music but the SFX is always at 100%. It should change AudioListener.volume instead. Another thing is that if you change it in the main menu, it doesn't update when you reopen it in game.
Thank youu :) Yeah, wasn't able to place the sfx adjustments but tried to adjust it as low as possible so that it won't blast too much. I really need to improve on these kind of game settings. I have two separate scripts for the sfx and music so I have to code them separately. For the Playerprefs capability, I wasn't able to apply this as I don't know why it keeps setting the volume to 0 initially and have to scrap that. But thank you for your awesome feedback :D
I love this game! Being square Santa in square land is awesome. I had fun and am now fully in the Christmas spirit! Thanks for making such a cool game. Great work!
Thank youuuu!!! :D Glad that you enjoyed it and Happy Holidays as well!!! :D
This was a charming game perfect for the upcoming holiday season! A lot of the challenge stems from finding every place you need to drop presents off before the time runs out, especially with how Santa doesn't move all that fast, but the game is generous with its timer and didn't leave me rushing too much. The choice of music also fit the game well.
I will say that the camera was a bit disorienting with the turns, and it took me a second to get used to it, but it wasn't so disorienting that it bothered me all that much. All in all, it was a sweet little Christmas game, and I enjoyed playing Santa for a bit!
Thank you!!! :D Maybe I was used to it while having that camera during development but will check the camera settings to have it polished :) Thanks for the feedback. Advance Merry Christmas as well hahahaha
