A  very interesting game. I loved the well-used monochrome. I also really liked the music. Simple and very challenging game! I would only change one thing: When the "jumping boiled egg" dies, the movement would not remain the same. I fell several times for dying during the jump and appearing at the check point doing the same movement and falling back into the hole.

Congratulations!

Great level design! Nice and polished

Really liked the concept and your approach on it! The one thing I think would have made it even better is some "game juice". Nice job!

Super satisfying tight controls! It's actually a pretty similar mechanic to mine, but not exactly the same. Love the art style and the levels are challenging but not overly difficult. The only issue I could say is that I could see how this might be a little too steep of a difficulty curve for someone not as familiar with platformers, but for my tastes this is a fantastic entry!

Check mine out and leave a rating, if you have the time :)

Thanks for the feedback, I personally felt like I may have made the third section a bit too brutal, but it's good to hear that folks aren't having too much issue with it.  I'll definitely check out your entry later today, it looks pretty interesting.

Yeah, most of my favorite games are hardcore platformers so it's kinda hard for me to judge what would be too difficult for the general public lol. And thanks, hope you enjoy :)

Took me a couple deaths to get the timing right, but after that I got hooked! Good job!

Wow, I might try to 0-death run this game someday. It was a blast. I am totally going to brag into a microphone now :)

Developer(+1)

Make sure to turn it wayyy up so the world can hear you!   lol thanks for giving it a shot, definitely let me know if you ever do that zero death run, I haven't even managed to do it myself yet!

pretty good! I'd say the difficulty was a little spicy from the outset, but I think this is a mechanic that would work great in a full game, and I'd absolutely play it, nice work.

Nice execution of a simple idea! If you were to develop this further I'd make it so you can jump on platforms from underneath (like in Mario and other platformers) just to make it easier. I also liked how it's just one long level you unlock parts of. Nicely done!

This is a god tier jam game so-to-say. Didn't think that special mechanic could be so much fun

This game is really awsome :) kind of got stuck in third level due to the rythm but really well done :)

I really like this short challening game. The difficulty ramping was on point, and the aestethics were really nice. You could definitely make a longer game out of this concept. keep it up!!

Quite fun, my only complaint is that the turrets seem to fire at you even if they can't see you. The bullets still don't reach you if there's a wall between, but sometimes they seem to float through? Not sure. Good job though, it feels great!

Awesome game, glad death didn't feel like such a setback, made it a lot more fun to play.

I really like the feeling of the  interconnected world this creates.

My only problem was with the enviroment, where the black ground looks the same as the black bars, and you can pass through onr, but not the other. This is not a problem when I'm playing attention, but it's a bit harder to notice when I'm trying to dodge the bullets at the same time.

Other than that, the platforming feels nice, and the other resources fit together pretty nicely.

The difficulty curve is so perfect its almost scary. Love the game!

Very polished, and a great mechanic. Just so you know, I believe you're UI works slightly different than intended on a larger screen size. Didn't take away from the experience at all though.

Really fun to play!

Super cool idea and game. It is a little hard to get a handle of the controls and mechanics. A really simple tutorial level might help. I like it!

I found this game fun! the re-spawn mechanic is quick so It was usually easy to get to where I left off. I found the last level really difficult, so It felt great when I beat it

Really fun game - took me around 10 minutes to get to the end. The auto-jump mechanic is really neat. I think you should expand this into a larger game with more levels.

Good to hear you enjoyed it!  There was a bunch of mechanics I wanted to try out, so I might end up adding new stuff in a post-jam update.
