Loved it! There's some amazing teamwork here... Like, the art is super cute, but usually this type of art can't be used to it's utmost in all types of games (since many of them rely on animations, which are very taxing with this quality of art), so there's some great communication/knowledge of each other's skills behind the scenes. And the cute artstyle is critical in endearing the player with Toffee, instead of frustrated; pulling that off requires trust in the team. But... the music is also amazing, and the fact that the gameplay is perfectly synced with it is doubly amazing. I'm impressed; Great teamwork!

You should go check out our sound designer's stuff here you want to hear more, he's going to be releasing the game music there too: OK Coffman's Youtube Channel
Super cute game! Loved it! It's pretty energetic and keeps you on your toes. Presentation and gameplay is great overall and fits the theme well.
Love the game! This will be a very interesting and fun game than a clicker game would be. Really like the game till the end
cute game, not sure if there's a way to lose? My work queue seemed to be spiralling out of control but i guess i still made it
The idea was like it's just another day kind of thing but we're exploring new things for the re-release
Cute little game. The click box for the arrows felt a little awkward to hit sometimes, and I felt that the email/work stuff could have been more than just spam-clicking, but I liked it.
A super awesome concept my guy. Beautifully done. And a pretty polished game at that. :)
Btw try out my game and tell me your views yeah? :)
This is super impressive for having been made in 48 hours. Way to go! You artwork is just adorable, and the premise is incredibly relatable. My dogs don't unplug the wifi but the do stare at my with big sad eyes, and cry like they have never known love. Thank you for this cute twist on pandemic living, I needed it!
In terms of game play I feel like with a bit more time you could tweak this into some really intense, really adorable, putting out fires game. Right now I can't manage to be fully engaged when I am at the Comp because I am just mashing LMB. I think part of what makes the dog/work balance interesting is that you want to love on your dog but you also need to be solving problems, and focusing on both is hard. Right now the computer side and the dog side both boil down to clickers. I would love to see you push this further. I'd play a Papers Please style unfolding narrative set in the bizarre time of 2020.
We decided to keep working on the game after the jam, here's a blog post about it. Add it to your collection and follow me for updates :)

For starters, and even before actually playing the game, I have to say that the art is really good!

Okay, I have to say that the gameplay is really nice! Not really frustrating as there doesn't seem to be any 'bad ending' per se, but still hard: it keeps the player focused. Ah, of course the music is as good as the graphics. It's something you'd expect from any game, really, but this much having been made in 48 hours is something that anyone will appreciate, I think.

I'm glad you liked it, we were blessed to have such amazing people on our team. I was continually shocked by the art and sound assets as they came from our members. Everyone killed it. We decided to keep working on it after the jam so if you want to see a full release add it to your collection and stay tuned for updates from Team Toffee: https://jmheartley.itch.io/work-with-me-here-full-game/devlog/161839/continuing-...
Fast paced and adorable! Love how simple it is, while still being very stressful!
This game is almost TOO adorable! I love the art style. I feel like a lot of people nowadays would appreciate a game where they have to manage work and this cute pet of theirs. The only area of improvement I could think of would be if there was an "autoclicker" similar to the mechanic in many idle games (or like you click once and it clicks up to four items on the computer screen). I could see someone getting worn out from all the clicking. This does not detract from the game, though. It gives the feeling of actually, y'know, working and dealing with the dog.

This game is amazing and gets really quickly out of control! Really nice work!
Really cute game! the game play was frantic and got out of control really fast! Makes me think of Fnaf with the switching between 2 static views to manage multiple arbitrary tasks. I Loved it! it took a second attempt and some Osu accracy but I was able to finish a day with 0 work left. First attempt I had around 600 because of the dog.
Ive rated close to 20 entries so far and this is my favorite BY far
