Was loving the visuals, but when the game started it was very hard for me to control the character, not sure if my machine is too slow :(

The music was really intense, seems like it can be quite a frantic gameplay!

Developer

Sorry about the issues, you can try a download version if it was the browser that gave you trouble. Thanks!

Cool game! I was taken aback of how scary it was but it really works!

Controls felt a little bit wonky to me. Music and visuals were awesome!

Developer

Thank you! Controls can definitely be streamlined given the pace of the movement.

The music and movement jammed in my pc  but the presentation is amazing

Sorry about the glitching, learned an important lesson about test building for performance before final build. :)

It's a bit confusing on how to progress but the presentation is amazing! Thanks for playing my game

Thank you for the feedback!

This was a fun little platformer, with really nice visuals and audio. I was really bad at it, although that's a personal problem haha. It was fun and enjoyable, especially after I realised how all of the mechanics work.

Great job!

Developer

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome art, it's great too see how much some people can make in just 48h.

My main gripe is the slow restart, I find with hard games such as these that an almost instant restart helps you get "hooked". But overall fun and enjoyable.

Developer

Thanks! Will keep the quick restart in mind in future endeavors.

That was fun! It took me a moment to realize I could climb the vine walls so I died quickly at first but I still had a good time. The music and art are well done as well!

Developer

Thank you!

Good work on the assets, definitely a spooky vibe! I didn't even realise the fungus was shooting spores at me for the first few attempts - I was probably accidentally destroying them all when I was waving my flashlight around looking for where to go!

Congrats on finishing!

Developer

Thank you!

The audio was pretty glitchy. I imagine it was due to my browser, so no hard feelings there. As others have said, performance was pretty rough, but I absolutely loved the art. Very good work!

Developer

Thank you! Definitely needed some optimization on file size and testing for glitches, glad you enjoyed.

Wow those spores are out of control! It ran fine on my laptop. I think a bit more easing in to the controls and resetting straight back into the game would make the learning experience easier. The mouse aiming the light feels really good.

Wow the art is great. It took awhile to figure the game out but real nice job!

Developer

Thank you!

Beautiful game, it was it glitched horribly in browser though.

Developer

Thanks, sorry to hear about the browser issues, ran into some problems with 2D bones that seem to cause some hiccups.

Really cool atmosphere, sadly I couldn't even figure out how to get past the first 5 seconds of the game

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, agree the start could be more clear and friendlier difficulty!

Beautiful and terrifying! The gameplay was pretty hard to figure out though, and I had some performance issues playing this on a laptop.

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear about the performance issues, could definitely do with more optimization. Thanks for the feedback!

Pretty nice art! I especially liked the thought you put into the character design.
But I found it a bit annoying that you had to go through the story again after dying instead of an instant reset.

Developer

Thanks! That's a good point, could go straight back to a new playthrough after death.

Amazing art and graphics. The game was quite difficult for me, but I guess uncontrollable lichen growths aren't supposed to be easy to run away from!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Ramping down the difficulty at the beginning might help to get the flow right and ease into higher challenge, appreciate the feedback.

Really good art an story but the game play doesn't make as much sense.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! A tutorial could have helped to clarify the gameplay, will keep in mind for next time.

The art in this game is lovely! I especially like how the vines look when you shine the flashlight on them. Swatting the clouds with the flashlight is fun too. I found the audio a little jarring, maybe something to do with the way it loads? I sometimes had trouble finding a path forward, it can be a little hard to tell what jumps you can make or not.

Developer

Thank you! Agreed playtesting and tuning the music and platforms would help.
