To sum up: good title, better game :). The game was easy to understand, the animations were fire and the level design was very clever!
Thank you very much!
So cool and fun puzzles! I like the reversed gravity for both puzzle pieces :D Great job!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it )
Great level design! And plays really well. Although if it was me, I would like the characters be something other than puzzle pieces (but that's just me). I liked it!
Thank you for your feedback!
Loved that death was very forgiving in this game and the blood effects for the puzzle pieces got a laugh out of me. Great fun, especially the portal segments!
Thank you! Glad that you had fun playing our game!
I love that you can move the characters on the main menu!!! Really beautiful art and a great game to match! :)
Hey! Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, the decision to make the characters controllable in the menu really was worth it :D
Very impressive game ! I like how original it is.
Congrats !
Thank you for playing our game!
I'm torn between liking the squishy character animations and disliking pixel-style games breaking the pixel grid.
As an evolution of this concept, continuing with combined characters and attaching more puzzle pieces as you go along would be neat!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback.
I'm curious, what do you mean by "breaking the pixel grid"? Are you talking about how pixels get stretched when a character jumps, for example?
Yea, it bothers me when pixels of different size end up on the final output image; but that's just me, so don't worry ;)
Yep, I don't like having pixels of different size on one screen, too, especially when the difference is huge. I wish we had more time to actually remake these animations in Aseprite.
I enjoyed the idea, level design and execution. The puzzle animation at the end is really cute. ~Please check mine, when you get time :D
I love how the game is a puzzle game first and a platformer second. The generous coyote time and respawning characters really let the player focus on the puzzle. Great job, I really enjoyed this.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, our goal was to create a fair balance between puzzle and platforming, and I think we managed to do that)
Great game and good idea for the theme! Very nice puzzle platformer
When one of them gets crushed, instead of the level restarting, they just respawn. Really nice.
Hey! Thanks for playing our game!
Wow this was great! This is so polished, I really do think it will make it into the top 100. Great job. You even added a wobble effect when a piece is close to the edge -- awesome!
Thank you! Make in the top 100 would be very cool!
Great game, I like the idea and I am amazed by the quality for a 2-day jam !
Thanks, we tried to do our best!
Well-polished one, with stable mechanics. The only thing I want to say is the mechanics is introduced too fast; maybe because it is packed into a few levels.
Hi! This is a good note. The mechanics are being introduced too quickly because we didn't have enough time for more levels. But maybe we'll fix it in the future! Thanks for your feedback! :)
Well polished game with a nice difficulty curve! Good job
Just in case you dont know I noticed a little bug in a portal level where a piece could stand on a spike without dying :
Hey! Yeah, we're aware of this bug you found. Just noticed it when the submission time was already over, so it made it to the final build, unfortunately. Let's just pretend that you found an invisible platform ;)
Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!
This game looks really polished and pro! I enjoyed the idea, level design and execution. The puzzle animation at the end is really cute. As everyone above said, really impressive for just 48 hours and a team of two. :)
Thank you for your feedback!
Wow, really great job! The portals in the last few levels really added a lot. You got a lot of personality out of puzzle piece characters, nice job!
Thanks for the feedback!
Pretty short, but still impressive for a 48 hour jam. The mechanics feel very polished and the levels follow a smooth difficulty curve. One of my favorites so far, well done!
Hey! Glad you liked it! Thank you for your feedback
Awesome how the characters are puzzle pieces and fit together in the end C: .. Its very pleasing game to look at and puzzles feel interesting and challenging enough to play! Kudos!
Glad you had fun playing the game. Thanks for the feedback!
Very cute! Love the pieces fitting together at the end. Loved the companion cube reference, and the Portal elements work well. Has a cool challenge level. Nice work!
