Good job! It was a nice platformer and puzzle game to play and I liked the design of the eye character. The level design was also interesting and was cool to progress through. Overall this was a solid entry and I had fun playing it! :)
I'm glad you liked it
This is very interesting. It's vidual presentation is a bit rough, but, but!! The actual figuring out bit of the game feels really nice. Though like Shinado Uzake said, maybe tell the player controls.
I'd also suggest making the reordering area a lot more central to the menu.
thank you for your feedback. I actually did want to center the levels on the menu but couldn't because of technical reasons.
Very interesting mechanic! The puzzles were unique and fun!
I would suggest making it so the room/level order does not reset each time you go back to the main menu, and also mention the Z to grab/release control in-game as I couldn't figure it out until I checked the game page.
Overall an amazing entry to the jam! Great job!
thank you for your feedback and I'm glad you liked my game
Really unique and fun puzzle game! It reminded me of something like the original Adventure on the Atari where stuff was a little abstract but you were still able to puzzle things out, and getting to the end was all the more satisfying because you were the one to figure it out.
A few quality of life features would've been great (persisting the list of rooms between resets and maybe showing a preview of each room after you've already seen it once) but it was still very doable with minimal instruction and I had a lot of fun!
glad you liked it
An interesting concept with some potential, but it got a bit frustrating seeing the levels get put back in their original order each time. Additionally, some kind of basic tutorial would have been appreciated to help the player understand what they were doing beside reordering random rooms that seemed to have objects such as keys that couldn't be reached.
thanks for your feedback
Really interesting concept, but it can feel a little frustrating to have to restart over and over and over just to view all the puzzle pieces before even getting to try and solve the puzzle. Trial and error like that can turn a lot of players away. Maybe having some form of preview in the main menu to help them see everything to actually solve the puzzle could help alleviate this
thank you for the feedback
Clever. Veeery clever.
thanks, I enjoyed yours to
Interesting game, really like how the eye moves as you do. Keep up the great work
thanks, yours was fun as well
Fantastic game! I love the implementation of the theme, it's quite clever. The game is very hands off and I like that, a puzzle game where you have to figure out everything by yourself. I still haven't managed to beat it, but I'll keep at it until I do. One nitpick however is that the game could've benefited from some music as it would soften the constant trial and error.
glad you liked it. also, the game has music so it's weird you didn't hear any
Ah didn't expect that! Interesting! Just that the levels could have been shown instead of numbers should have been pictures to be easier to remember and when you restart they could have been in their places, other than that I liked this!
thanks for the feedback
Phiew, took me a while to figure out! Good job!
thanks
My only criticism would be that the background of blue/orange so close together made it difficult for me to look at the screen - apart from that good take on the game and nice job! I loved being able to switch the levels around to my liking
glad you liked it and thanks for the feedback
This is a really cool idea! It was a bit confusing but I still enjoyed figuring it out. I hope you keep working on it post-jam!
thanks. maybe I will
This is a very interesting concept. I had a some trouble understanding the game, but once it clicked I got an “Aha!” moment. It was hard to remember which room was which was which.
Original concept. Kudos to that!
thank you
I liked the idea and gameplay itself. You should increase the transition speed or lock movement while transition. You might want to implement saving the room order. Other than that I had fun playing and figuring out the riddle.
glad to hear
This is a neat little game. The controls are well and it's simple, but good. I'd recommend increasing the transition speed as i've seen myself quiet a few times run down an edge before the screen was visible. Also a bit more guidance on the controls would have been nice.
Other than that it's a solid jam entry. Good Job!
thanks
thank you, yours was good too
Really really cool game, I love the way the puzzling was with the order of the levels! I felt the use of certain items could be communicated better, especially with the pail, but overall, it was good.
thank
good points
Awesome concept, great puzzle! Really got me thinking!! Played on stream! Awesome job on this! Loved that I had to reorder my levels and join them up, think if this was stand alone and didn't have the main page or someone telling you to look in the menu might help guide the player into how they can re-order the levels but a really amazing idea to just let them figure it out too! :D Best of luck with the jam! :D
thank
nice game.
thanks
Maybe you could make the objectives more clear, and give the player more guidance inside your game, but good job on finishing before the due date
I did actually plan for more guidance but then I just did not do it
did just watch the stream. couldn't before because of reasons. so the idea was that the numbers in the menu is the level order. I now get that that might not have been clear. I might fix that after voting is done
