Nice job! This game has really cool and unique gameplay with the moving level pieces and had excellent puzzles. The style of the graphics was also fun and the music was good as well. Overall this was a great entry to the jam and I had fun playing! :)

Thank you!

Well come on, simple but good art, very good and unique mechanics, fun to play, good secrets and good puzzles! It's great to move the artifact and solve the puzzles! My only feedback is that it could make the commands and possibilities more intuitive as I was thinking at first that I had a button to deliver items and that it didn't work or something like that, but overall it's a very well done game!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game!

Wow know this is incredible. Doesn't even seem like a 48hour jam game! Feels really polished and good to play, love the shaking when you move the tiles. I think this has potential to be one of the top 20 in the jam. Very well done with this!!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words!

Is there a way to DM on itch? o u o? Thanks for playing either way though! If you want a hint for 6, low key you can probably just read through some of the comments and they mention some stuff about the puzzle for 6 :)

This was my favorite game I've played so far. Just incredible. So unique, challenging but not enough that I ever felt stuck, dripping with character, I'm blown away.

Developer

Thanks! We really focused on pacing through the game and were really skeptical at first, but everyone seems to find it near perfect. And a shout-out to our writer for putting the time into the saucy lines!

Great game!

Reminded me of minit in terms of style and writing, but reminded me of one of the final dungeons of Skyward Sword in terms of gameplay. What a wonderful combination!

Really don't have much to say constructively here. Would like to see it expanded upon and polished even more. Maybe it'd be better if you could click & drag the tiles, even multiple spots if there's space?

Loved it.

Developer

Thank you so much! I considered doing the drag and drop, but I didn't really have experience with it so I thought I'd keep it nice and simple. Thank you for the feedback!

Really liked the noir vibe of this game compared to all the other vibrant-colored games I've been playing. Really fun puzzles to solve as well, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I was thinking of adding a shader that could let you customize colors too since it (should) only use 4 colors.

I found the winner! This is by far my favorite game of this jam! I am very impressed! It was a DELIGHT to solve this game! I did find a bug where I got stuck inside the rocks and had to restart though.

Well done! Bravo!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We've only seen this happen one time and it's cause I was lazy with collision code haha.

Had some really good puzzles. The blocks sliding is really well done. Love the art also.

The overall presentation of this game is great

Lovely art, lovely music, lovely concept! I had a lot of fun playing this. I really like the idea of shifting the world around.

Congrats on making such a cool game!

Thank you!

I enjoyed this game soo much, it's so clever. Unfortunately, I got stuck after I got to the 6th piece (with with the lost sea). I'd gladly return to your project, though, good job!

Developer

Do it! Once you have 6 sliders there's two quests available -- the river quest and the lost ruins quest. One of them is completable and the other needs another slider piece. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+2)

I love the originality of the concept and the puzzles. Definitely at the top of my list!

Developer

Thank you!

Oh gosh.. That's amazing!
Don't want to give spoilers, but that thing on the middle of the game was brilliant!
Beautiful art, original gameplay, great puzzles, and a satisfying sense of complete when you get it.
That's one of the best ideas I saw on the jam. It's unfortunately the web version isn't working tho.
5/5

Developer(+1)

I was so incredibly sad when after 10 minutes of loading and the jam ended I realized the web version just wasn't gonna load hahA

Thanks for playing!

I really loved this game! Although I was stuck at 6 sliders after I met the ocean guy - I wanted to continue and spent about 10 minutes trying to figure it out. (I guess I also skipped the guy with the scan..)

My only complaint is that I got no sound, and you might want to consider starting near the top right corner, since I was sliding through all of the squares, confused, until I reached the 2nd slider.

Nontheless, this was a very fun, well put game!

Very well done!

Edit: I just realized my headphones were bugged so it wasn't a bug in your hand.

Developer

Haha try our game again the sound is great! We wanted players to start in the bottom left because it would force them to get used to moving the slider around until they got the second piece. Slider 6 was definitely the highest difficulty jump. There's two quests really available -- finishing the river and the QR -- any a lot of players ended up getting stuck here. Thanks for playing!

I don't think anyone else can think of such a unique main mechanic, and I think that really separates this game from many others. My only complaint is I would have liked the purpose of the game starting out to be made a little more clear to allow an easier onboarding for the player. Other than that, great game.

I would appreciate your rating/comments on my game as well, to see what we can improve. Thanks for making this.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We wanted to try and deliver as close to a no hand-holding experience to the player cause we found we liked those games from the start, but we have gotten those same words from some other friends who played the game. I'll make sure to check yours out too (probably later though)!

This is my favorite game in the jam so far - easy 5s in every category, I'd give you 6s if I could.
Absolutely brilliant work. The main mechanic was implemented perfectly, the puzzles were super satisfying to solve, everything worked exactly like you expect it to, the music is great, the art is adorable - not to mention that the main mechanic is so creative!

Amazing job, really.

Thank you for your high praise! T v T

What an absolutely incredible game! Using the slider mechanic on the world map was incredibly fun and unique! I loved interacting with all of the different people (and fish!) in the individual sections, and bringing them together at the end felt super satisfying! Plus the greyscale pixel art was super charming! You guys really deserve more ratings! Awesome work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'm glad to hear you liked it. A lot of the NPCs had names during development that I thought were pretty funny. The fish's name was Sam (the salmon) and the fisherman on the top left dock was Pierre.

Submitted(+1)

I love that!

Ended up softlocked at the very end with an impossible puzzle (according to a solver I used). Otherwise, fantastic game! Well paced and very polished. The QR code was awesome!

Developer

Thank you! We actually had a lot of issues with the final challenge. We tried placing the 8th tile in various spots, counting inversions, but it was all a massive head ache and we ended up (don't tell anyone) hardcoding the final puzzle in -- so in theory it should be solvable each time. I can definitely see a world where moving the tiles between cutscenes or doing something funky could cause an unintended inversion which is sad to hear. Or maybe the goal state you input was one swapped when it wasn't? Who knows! Thanks for playing tho, I'm glad to hear you liked the pacing and puzzles leading up to it!

really good

cool mechanics too!
