Feels well polsihed! Great progress in just 48 hours! Nice!

Developer

That's really nice of you to say! There's so much more polish we wanted to add, but that's a rabbit hole you'll never get to the end of, lol. Thank you for your kind words!

The art in this game is really nice and the sounds are well done
The gameplay didn't seem super balanced but it was good
This game is super charming overall good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Yeah, we did want to flesh out the balancing a little more, but we ran out of time! Really appreciate the feedback!

This is breaks my brain. It's just so hard to control two things at once. But I love the idea. The presentation is also really awesome. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! I had some trouble "getting it" myself once our programmer was done implementing the mechanic, haha! Glad you liked our idea and presentation!

I don't know if it's only me, but i can't play the game because the game's resolution is much bigger than the screen resolution that i have. Because of that, i can't click on the new game button. Is there any way to make the resolution of the game smaller?

Developer(+1)

I'm so sorry about that! The main menu wasn't set to scale properly in the build we submitted for the jam. It's a bug we caught and fixed and we have a new build that you can even play on the browser, but unfortunately, because of the rules of the jam, I can't link you to it. It would be unfair because we finished that build only after the deadline. My apologies :/

this is a really nice take on the theme, I love the presentation a lot! the game is very easy to learn and has really flow-y movement. really cool entry!

Developer(+1)

That's very nice of you to say, thank you for the nice words! Hope you enjoyed your time with our game!

Really nice! It took some getting used to, but eventually I was on a roll. I wish it was bit more clear what the box collectable did though. Overall, neat concept and nice graphics ~  Do check mine and give your valueable feedback:D

Really nice mechanics with changing around between the ship and the character! Really liked what you did with the game in the 48 hours, nice one!

Developer

Thank you! We had so many ideas, and it was really hard choosing what to prioritise in the 48 hours we had. Hope you had fun playing!

Submitted(+2)

Woah! really impressed with how intuative you've made quite a complicated concept, Its alot to manage at one time and feels like I'm spinning plates but i got the controls really quickly and understood what i needed to do! Great ar, great link to the concept and a great little game!!

Developer

Thank you so much! Really glad you liked our game!

Awesome entry! I really liked the small details you added, such as Eva talking, the ship visually showing damage, etc. They really helped add life to the game :) The tie to the theme was also really well done!

I think this game could take some expanding on post-jam to really give it a lot of extra depth, like perhaps growing difficulty when a second astronaut drifts in, more hazards, or even events. Lots to explore in this concept :)

Great entry and I hope to see you keep working on it post-jam, good job!

Developer(+1)

Oh my god it's so validating when the seemingly small touches you add get noticed! We definitely had some expansive ideas that we didn't have time for during the jam, but hopefully we'll get to flesh it out a little more. Thank you so much for playing our game and for the thoughtful feedback!

The controls took a little getting used to, and I kept forgetting to connect back with the astronaut after picking something up, but that one's my fault.

I kept getting unlucky with item placements, but again, that's on me.

Maybe being able to see how many hits you have to go on an asteroid would be nice?

Developer

That's really valuable feedback, thank you, we could definitely add something to telegraph the health of asteroids. I appreciate your taking the time to play our game, hope you enjoyed your time with it!

Submitted(+1)

Despite the problems I had, I sure did ^^

I like this, It's a very fun arcade game! I like that you control two different characters and that they cannot be separated for long while collecting items require separating them. It's a solid concept. One complaint I have though is that the game feels too easy. After getting the hang of the controls, I felt I could keep going forever and I don't think this should happen on an arcade game. Challenge is important in this kind of game to motivate the player to beat their own score. I deliberately stopped playing at 20000 score. If the game got harder with time I think it would be even better. But aside that, it's a really good game!

Developer

I totally understand what you're talking about. Scaling difficulty was on our list, but with the limited time, it became a nice-to-have instead of a must-have. We're looking into ramping up the difficulty when we upload a new version after the jam. Thank you so much for playing our game and all the nice things you had to say! Hope you had as much fun playing as we did making it!

High score: 5990!

Developer

Thank you for playing! And for the nice feedback! Unfortunately we ran out of time before we could implement a couple of the info screens that would've explained things better, but we will definitely update the game with QoL improvements once the jam is done! Hope you had fun!

Submitted(+2)

Very hard at the start but i can appreciate the mechanics! Nice idea

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked it. We'll upload a build with better tutorials after the jam!

Submitted(+2)

Nice art-style and mechanic. I like how you explored the choice between keeping the link or temporally breaking it.

Well done!

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to explore the other side of the joined-together coin as well, so you have to balance between unlinking and joining. Really glad you liked it!

Submitted(+2)

Pretty hard controls but after getting used to them it is pretty intense and fun game! Very well done

Developer

Appreciate the kind words! After the jam, we'll upload a version that explains the controls better!

Submitted(+2)

The controls felt a little weird but the game was  fun and the art style was nice. Great job :)

Developer

Thank you for playing our game, and for the nice words! Controls can be tricky to get right in a game, we'll keep that in mind!

I really love the main mechanic on this game! It took me a little bit to get the hang of it, but once I fully got it, switching back and forth was so satisfying, and when I clutched out a switch and fly to pull my astronaut to safety just in time - oh it felt GREAT.
Great work, I really enjoyed playing it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I also feel like a damn superstar whenever I manage to switch to the ship and pull Eva out of the way just in time. Thanks again! Really appreciate the feedback!

Art is cool. I like the gameplay a lot.  A nice twist on asteroid.

Developer

Thank you! I hope you had fun playing our game!

Submitted(+2)

The UI and art style were great. The game itself was a little too easy, but still pretty fun. Good job!

Developer

Thank you! We wanted to implement increasing difficulty as the run progresses, but we didn't have time, haha! Maybe we can get that up and running in our next version.

Submitted(+2)

There is some kind of mastery in the game. Like it, would love to see some more variation.

Well done

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked our game! We didn't have enough dev time to introduce more variety, but it's definitely something we want to do!
