Great concept and intresting take on the theme. i belive that it might be a little bit less frustrating if you had some control over your direction to help you where it's really close. Good job!

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about connecting planets to form star charts for humanity to explore the galaxy with, following the wakes of earlier colony ships. Every time you launch for another planet, you break your connection with the one you are currently on, which may or may not result in the demise of the crew.

Really great art and atmosphere! And it's nice and simple to understand, which I think is really good for a jam game like this. One feature that might be cool is to be able to go in either direction around the planets, depending on the angle that you come in at, just to make it even smoother. Really good job!
The music fit very well with the sense of exploration. The speed you get flinging yourself off a planet was also satisfying, especially compared to firing your engines when you're limping in space. I did feel like if you missed a planet altogether it felt especially bad. Having to restart could get annoying if it happened late and if it happened early the music would restart which could get annoying as well.
Such a chill experience, I really enjoyed exploring the star systems. I was hoping to just fling myself across the map if I built up enough speed on a sun :P
This is nice. Though one thing I found myself doing was hold the map button almost permanently because the zoomed in version was a little close for some of the jumps.
This is definitely one of my favorite games in the jam so far. The artworks are cohesive and stunning, and your music choice is just perfect, which creates the exact atmosphere of space exploration. Well Done! The game mechanics are not hard to comprehend, but they are very interesting. The experience of choosing the right timing to boost the spacecraft and Choosing the right path towards the black hole is so much fun and creates meaningful choices. I really enjoyed this game. Fantanstic for a 48h work!
I love that you chose space as a theme and the aesthetics are wonderful. However, I would consider allowing to course correct without a planet (but some penalty, of course) and to reward exploration! But nicely done within 48hs!
Being a huge space nerd, this game definitely is my favorite aesthetically so far! Great music and art. The planet hopping concept is really cool as well. If you continue to work on it, I suggest adding tiers of zooming to the map.
I really loved the overall vibe of this game! The are and music are really good.
However I had such a hard time navigating, it felt like I could lose a level with one wrong input :(
On top of that, in level 3/4, it's super difficult to navigate because the normal view doesn't show far enough but the zoom is too fast because the map is big. being able to control the zoom (with the mouse wheel for instance) would have made the experience much more pleasant.
Nevertheless, releasing a game in 48h is always a miracle! this is a great work and you should be proud of yourselves :)
Thanks for your feedback, we definitely wish we had a couple of extra hours to iron out gameplay and balance issues such as these! We'll be looking at downsizing the size of level 3 to be more in line with the other levels, and will also look into finding a better way to handle the map view controls in our post-jam update.
Really awesome game! You managed to create the perfect atmosphere (hehehehe) for this kind of game, it felt so engaging!
I had a lot of fun with it!
At times it felt a little too punishing, just barely missing an orbit or just barely not hitting the next refuel planet felt pretty frustrating, but those are very minor compared to how good this game is!
Really great job! :)
The feeling of zooming out the star chart for the first time was really nice! Together with picking out the right planets to fly to in order to reach the next zone, that felt like a really cool game! It's also a very visually pleasing one
I'd say the default zoom level should be about halfway between what it is now and what it's like fully zoomed out, other than that it's a really nice game
