the art style is pretty good. the mechanics are a little bit wonky though.

I like the artwork! Honestly I would have used your actual game art for the cover image instead of a unique cover art.
I had a hard time understanding what to do or what was going on. Am I supposed to kill/detatch the slimes on the ropes, or am I supposed to try to navigate the maze while keeping them alive?
When I would get near an opening in the maze, the level would reset. Was this because I won or because I lost?
I also saw something on the page about how 99.9% of the time if you touched the walls you'd "spoil" your game. What was that all about? I didn't understand.
Nice work for making this at only 13 years old! I'm almost 33 years old! I wish I had gotten started on my dream of making video games at your age! :) Well done!
Presentation was great. I did get confused during gameplay, though. I found the tutorial to be a bit too wordy, so a few illustrations would have been nice. Also at the end of a level, a bit more feedback on whether or not I passed a level would have helped.
I do see what you were going for and a few refinements would make this game great!
Good job! I can tell you put a good amount of work into these visual effects, they look pretty cool. It got so frantic trying to find some spikes to break the ropes on later in the game.
Would like the ability to restart from the current level, rather than having to close the game (unless there is a way and I didn't figure it out). They get pretty hard!
Impressive for 48 hours and being so young, keep making good games!
The presentation is pretty great, got a nice tutorial (though telling the player what button to actually continue on past the tutorial again would be helpful), and it's a fun concept, though the enemies do all seem to kill themselves instantly in the first couple mazes, after that you start seeing them do their thing as you run around looking for spikes. It's a fun time and an impressive accomplishment in 48hrs, nice job!
Wow, for such a young developper, doing all of that yourself is really amazing, you can be really proud of what you've done ! The game is a bit buggy, but the art is really cool ! Maybe try to tune down a bit the glow, it's great to improve the graphics but used too much it becomes a bit messy
Stick on gamedev, I bet you'll do amazing games in a few years :)
Interesting twist on a standard maze game. I love the puzzle side of it whilst also fending off the aliens. Keep up the great work.
Cool game, I liked the music, art design and the advanced maze concept. Maybe you should add different colour for exit, other than that I gotta admit I have really enjoyed playing.
Very cool idea. Most people thought of joining together stuff while in this case, you want to unjoin stuff. With some polish, you can take this concept further!
It's a neat little jam game. Not much to complain about. The levels could have been designed a bit better. But the visuals were really cool.
Good Job!
I liked the idea, the art is cute and the music. Is fun too but no retry button, make me quit of the game fast, sad thing (edit i come back and finished :) ). But very solided game! (the light of the torchs need to be less lighter)
Nice game! The controls are responsive and the alien-styled timer is a nice finding. I like, that it's something physical in the game world and not just some timer in the HUD. What confused me a bit were torches, they look like hazards, but anyway, the idea and the game overall are nice. Congratulations on that!
The game is pretty interesting, the music and art looks pretty good, and the controls feel great too. The game quite a bit of potential to be expanded on, well done!
Really solid entry! I loved the subtle lens distortion (i like to use that a bit myself :P) The bloom, particularly on the torches, were a bit bright, so I'd recommend turning it down a little. It's also not clear that you can walk through the torches, so moving them out of the doorways might help a bit.
I really like the enemies being attached to you, though it was fairly easy to kill them all early, then worry about the maze afterwards. Maybe have the enemies connect to you throughout the level? That could be an interesting fix. My favorite level was the one with no spikes in sight, added just the right amount of stress!
This is a really solid game, it looks great, the controls feel really crisps, and the idea is creative, great job! I wish I was as talented as you when i was 13 :)
Good choice of music, and the look and mechanics draw me right in. The bloom on the player can be a bit straining on the eye, but it's a rather solid little game.
Good game! Some of the levels are a little larger than they need to be given the number of enemies and obstacles, but the animations and music make it interesting to navigate nonetheless.
