Very nice art and super creative idea. My current highest score is 13.

Developer(+1)

Wow nice score! I couldn't get past 10 :) Thanks for playing!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
How many rules did you encounter?

Submitted(+3)

That's really amazing! Good job there, it is a nice original idea.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing.
Yes, it is indeed a very creative game.

Submitted(+3)

Great presentation, and loving the concept of trying to survive as a Uno card !

Developer(+2)

Thanks a bunch!

Developer(+2)

you mean one card :)

Submitted(+1)

Took me couple of games to realise how to play, but other than that good job! Cheers

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes it is a very creative game for sure. Once you understand the game it's truly amazing.

Submitted(+1)

Really neat concept and game looks super polished. My only criticism like others have pointed out is that the timing seems a bit slow especially at the start when there's nothing much to deduce and you're very likely to be safe, but other than that this is great!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes, it's true. Maybe give the game a go till you get 4 rules. You will surely love the game more as it progresses.

Submitted(+2)

the gameplay seems a little slow for me but the artstyle and the idea is awesome.

Developer(+1)

True, the gameplay is pretty slow. I'm sure we could have done something about that, but we sadly didn't have the time. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+2)

i reallly like this one. the concept is great, the art as well (look at those hands in the icon :o!) only the gameplay is slow.. the best one i met so far, GJ!

Developer(+1)

We're glad you liked our game. Waiting is sadly just a big part of card based games. You could definitely change that, but that would require a lot of thinking and creativity, and we didn't really have the time. Thanks for your review!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes it a vert unique and creative game. Gameplay could have had a skip turn button to faster the process but it's a gamejam submission, we learn most of the best things for the game after the submission.

Submitted(+2)

I loved the concept, but I just felt like there was a lot of waiting at the start because most of the time the number and colour you were on was fine.

Developer

Yes, waiting is just a huge chunk of the game. I guess there is not a lot to do about that without completely revamping the game concept. Thank you for the Feedback!

Submitted

i was thinking you could start off with less numbers and less colours, so you need to switch more often, then slowly introduce them back. Not sure too, but either way it was an enjoyable jam game. I always prefer something creative like this.

(+2)

What an interesting concept! Some bugs on the loop after loosing once, no new rules, and after a while everything went nuts. I gad a lot of fun nevertheless

Developer(+1)

When you win, you have to click on "Play Again" to move on to the next level and get more rules. This was definitely a UI problem, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Developer

Thanks for playing
Once you win we gradually add new rules to make the game more complex and fun.

Submitted(+2)

Cool, but it lacks gameplay I feel. Interesting though

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your review!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
What do you think it lacks in gameplay?

Submitted

it feels like the hacking game in deus ex: human revolution

Submitted(+2)

Super interesting idea for a game, a bit hard for me to figure out how to find the rules but it's not my type of game anyway so that's not necessarily bad. Lovely art style and music. Good game.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the review! Figuring out the rules can get pretty difficult at times, I agree. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game anyways

Submitted(+2)

Really clever theme and the audio / art were really polished. Gameplay could've been more fun though. The rules often felt too random to figure them out without getting lucky, and once you do understand them it gets boring if the game goes on too long.

Can't blame you for trying something new though. All around it was a nice game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you took time to play!

Submitted(+2)

Clever idea with cute presentation! I think having the list of what the rules *could* be would make it more enjoyable, since otherwise it's just too hard to figure out what the patter is from 3 plays alone. Maybe adding more players to the table would help on that front as well.

But the idea really is good and the time pressure for figuring out the rules is challenging and fun.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback I absolutely agree that more clarity on the rules would be great!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing.
If we give the rules out first then the game isn't reversed in the sense. We thought it would fit the theme more and it would be more fun if the rules were something player had to figure out to survive.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess then having more players in the table so you had a few more examples of the rule before it comes back to you would be the path to make it a bit more fair!

Developer

You mean the game should have more than 4 players on the table?

Submitted

Yes! Because, like, from 3 examples alone, there are more than one reasonable/possible rule that could fit the that cards were played. If there were one or two more players at the table, you would get a few more examples before your turn, which in turn could help you eliminate some more possible rules, and find the correct one.

You could argue that it would make the game too easy, but I think the time pressure would still make it quite a challenge.

Submitted(+2)

The game never ended and it started to drag on. There's probably a good game here, but I'm not waiting out the first level. Each time someone gets down to one card, a couple turns later they're back to a full hand. I do not enjoy Level 1 Rule 2 purgatory and I'm not going to wait to get out because I can't spare 10 minutes of doing the same thing over and over again (switching colors and numbers to not get placed).
Beautiful visuals and very creative concept though. I definitely would've enjoyed it more if the rounds were shorter.

Developer(+1)

We're sorry to hear that! The system is completely based on RNG, so with bad luck, rounds can go on for quite a while. Whenever I played, the rounds were only one, maybe two minutes long. There might be a way to fix the rounds being too long by manipulating the RNG depending on the card in the middle and the cards everyone else has, but we just didn't have time for that in the 48h. Thank you for your feedback!

Submitted(+2)

Really clever idea. I liked it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a bunch!

Submitted(+2)

Great twist on deck-based mechanics with an incredibly charming presentation. Some really great dynamic feedback elements as well (like Timothy's animations). Awesome job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes it is a very creative game for sure.

Submitted(+2)

Really well polished game that was very enjoyable. Well done!
Also fits the theme really well.
I think I skimmed through the tutorial screens a bit too fast so when I was playing I thought I was supposed to match the rule. Really smart to keep the tutorial there, its my bad for not reading it close enough.

Developer(+2)

Don't feel bad! if anything we feel the tutorial could of done a better job anyways! Thanks for playing!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing.
Now that you understand the rules. Try getting to a level with 4 rules.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah I managed to complete the game after I understod that I wasn't supposed to get picked :D

Developer(+1)

haha, Yes roles are reversed. So don't get played and let other wins should be your goal here.

Submitted(+2)

Great idea, great execution. Really charming game. Loved it!

One suggestion I have would be to make the game progress faster and faster, since once you figure out the rules, it becomes a waiting game to get to the next level.

Developer(+2)

Our team loves this idea! Thank you!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes, it is a problem for some smart and skilled players. Maybe a skip turn button would have helped.

Submitted(+1)

This implication makes me happy XD

Submitted(+2)

This is so cool, well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Submitted(+2)

Amazing game! The art is cute, the vibe both stressful and calm, and I love the fact that you have to stay focus to every move.

Developer

Thanks so much for the kind words!

Developer

Thanks for playing.
Yes, don't lose focus in the game because anytime a new rule can be added.
