Super fun and unique game! I did notice that if you place the tiles inside the player it can launch you really high which, even though it’s pretty fun lol, should probably be fixed if you update this game. One time I even launched myself so high that I flew off the screen and soft-locked the game lol. Great game tho, 5 stars from me :)
Thanks a lot!
We definitely need to do something about that, but since placing the platforms just right to do a rail-gun is also based on skill, we feel like the game would loose something if we took that away entirely. Gotta stop it from soft-locking for sure, though!
Yeah that’s fair, like I said it was super fun to launch up like that so it makes sense to leave it in
What a cracker of a game!

Best score I got was 33.
Nice run, and thanks for playing!
Some people got over 100, but that was using the
bugshidden features.Ain't nobody got over 9000 though ;)
i felt the game is super creative and enjoyable but can also be a rage game like getting over it and only up since you can fall from the highest point and die after not paying attention overall one of the best games ive seen in the jam
Thanks a lot!
Seeing the feedback, we're starting to think that maybe that rage element coming from those pesky sides might be a good thing? At the very least, a lot of people seem to notice ;D
Kinda reminds me of icy tower, pretty neat game. I am really bad at it tho! LOL
Didn't know Icy Towers, but having played it just now there is indeed some similarity, except that...
The roles are reversed! ;P
I particularly like the animations for the knight you're bouncing around. Adding bouncy balls and smaller platforms to the mix makes the game way harder and way more fun!
Thanks, happy you had fun!
The Dark Souls of making Dark Souls
That comparison warms our hearts! (or freezes them, not sure which is more appropriate :D)
I like the idea of a level design game, and I also appreciated the player narration coming out of the player character. This is very tough!
Thanks for playing!
Yes, level-design ain't easy ;)
Hecking fun
Thx!
Fun game that got surprisingly stressful! I couldn't place platforms to the far edges, so the player eventually got stuck back there and fell into lava :(
Thanks for playing!
Yep, gotta avoid those 'edge-cases'... :P
Love the premise of the game! Had a blast playing it after wrapping our head around the controls. Great job! :D
Thanks a lot!
I stared too much time to the "preposterous-productions" until i realised i had to press "space bar", the idea is very similar to my game
Yes, seems we had the same idea, once in puzzle-format and once in action-format.
Def need to make that screen switch happen on any key, not just game inputs :P
Amazing game! Feels good to be a hardcore gamer
Thanks a bunch
Great game! I got the knight stuck between two bars and he started shaking before shooting out like a bullet. That was a highlight!
Yep, that's totally the way we wanted people to play, and has nothing to do with the limited time we had for debugging!
Never a bug, always a Feature!
with all the high praise in these comments I wish I could've played it, but both the browser and downloaded version are stuck on the title screen.
...is what I would've written if I didn't figure out (after more time than I'm willing to admit) that I had to press spacebar to move on to the main menu.
And now that I've played it, this is a lot of fun to play, gotta agree with the others here. My only complaint is that I can't put small tiles close to the wall. I love the music choice, the little animations and texts the little character does, it's great.
Oh no! Indeed, you have to press enter/space/joypad a/b to pass the screen. Should have made that any key/button. Thanks for toughing it out!
And yep, definitely need to find a better way to handle the sides. Thanks for the feedback!
Very fun game, and the artstyle is really pretty! I wonder if using the mouse to play platforms would have made the game too easy, but great job on your entry!
Thanks!
Mouse movement was something we thought about, but didn't have time to implement, since it would have required quite a bit of finetuning to make it work with the keyboard/joypad controls.
Very cool concept, I had a lot of fun with this one! One of my favorite games of the jam!
Thanks a lot, proud to be one of your favorites!
This game is great! It's really satisfying doing all the hard work for the noob, and the music and art style is great. Good work!
Thanks a bunch!
Super fun and addictive! Would've loved if the music slowed down in slo-mo mode, would've been a nice way to add more polish to an already polished game. Would've also liked if the platforms could be placed all the way to the sides, although I'm guessing this was intentional to prevent some kind of exploit? My player also got stuck a number of times, although that's more of a testament to how much I played this game rather than the quality of the game. A really solid entry!
Thanks for the feedback!
We definitely need to do something about those pesky sides, and getting stuck. We're also thinking about working a bit more on the slowmo mechanic given your and others feedback.
Great game! It was very enjoyable to play, and visuals were nice. GG!
Thanks!
SOLID CONTENDER!
Awesome music!
Fun game!
I played multiple times and will come back for more.
Looking forward to seeing you around! ;)
