The music, art, animation, and gameplay was amazing, the sounds were great, I have seen this concept done before, but this game still is so amazing, it's incredible that you made this in 48 hours!

Nice work! Gameplay feels smooth and polished, and it's oh so satisfying to take over an enemy right as you're about to get hit.

Good game. The visuals are really nice. I also like the idea of possessing enemies.

I think that maybe the camera could be moved back a bit so you can see more of whats going on, also, I felt like the movement was lacking a bit, I felt kind of slow

Pretty good though

Wow! This was a blast! 😄

The gameplay feels tight, and the different enemies with their unique abilities make it for a nice unfolding of the experience!

The visual effects are nice, and the vector style works really nice with the concept! The time slowing on switch was a nice touch!

My only problem with the visuals was that it was sometimes hard to see bullets coming towards me, because they had the same black outline effect. Maybe you could make the bullets solid colors to make them easier to see (like the trail of the Speeder?)

The controls were easy to understand, and the tutorial was well-executed!

Overall, this is a really fun game! It’s amazing you could make it in just 48 hours! 😃

I was puzzled when I first played this yesterday. Coming back to it, the game makes more sense. I like the mechanics that you've got in the game. I did notice brief game slowdowns a few sequences like explosions.

Juicy stuff! Very good polish, I like the slow downs, gotta try doing that sometime!

I felt like I got hit by invisible stuff sometimes... Maybe I'm just a bad loser, but I didn't see any incoming projectiles really.

One thing that would have been good is if the tutorial didn't show after having proven that I understood them. They took quite some time to get through when I just wanted to get going again.

The sound was a mess in firefox for me, so I installed windows client instead. Much better there.

Very impressed by this entry. Nice controls, very smooth ride. Well done!

possessions work on a timer system, and when the time runs out you start taking damage!

It’s a mechanic which we didn’t really communicate well, sorry!

Quite the looker we have!
firstly the game looks gorgeous! and the art-style really makes the game pop so good work there, gameplay wise the controls are rigid and the game loop is quite fun, I like the sense of control you get playing, and the combat is very polished for such a short time! even the sound department is well done, overall a very solid entry indeed, and one of my personal best games in the jam, excellent work!

Impressive work. Very enjoyable action packed gameplay. I really liked all the visual effects and the variety of enemies. It gets tricky when it's only you (speedster) vs one (speedster) since it looks like they can't damage each other, so you have to swap untill the new spawned enemy gets near your old exploding one. The game is very well made though and super fun especially when playing with the big guys later on.

Excellent game overall. Well done!

That speedster vs speedster thing is a bug in some computers and WebGL... I have absolutely no idea why it happens lol

This game looks great, except for the fact that my crappy laptop is too slow to run it. How do you guys keep doing this.

Try downloading it, webgl is ass

This feels extremely satisfying to play. I enjoyed it a lot, it was a blast trying to beat it. It's insane your team produced this in just 48 hours. The visuals and audio are sooooo good. You did it again yollie :)

Hands down, all over the board the best game in the jam I've played so far. Minimalistic, pure fast-paced fun that's oozing juice and game feel! Honestly my only comment is I kept mixing up the LMB/RMB in the tutorial because of their colours and it took 2 tries before figuring it out, hahah. Fantastic work!

dopamine in its purest form. love all the special effects and the polish.

Super fun and the presentation and juice are absolutely stunning!!!

It's really good. Got to be a strong contender!

Hey Yollie and team! Good to see you in another jam!

The presentation on this is pretty dang sparkly. Good camera shakes, impactful actions, lots of good player feedback all around.

I tried this in webGL first, then download and encountered the same issue. I kept getting hit by nothing and couldn't figure out why. I couldn't even complete the second objective. The bullets felt pretty hard to dodge as it was, but they seemed to hit me or damage me before even hitting me in some cases. I'm not sure what happened.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any abilities beyond he basic shooting enemy. And while helpful, the tutorial bit at the start of every run made restarting feel a little more time-consuming than I would have liked.

Still a very nice looking game, especially for 48 hours. Well done team. Keep making games!

There's a mechanic that's pretty badly communicated towards the player - you can't possess an enemy infinitely, after time you'll just start taking damage over time, that's probably what you encountered. Thanks for playing the game!

The effects are really beautiful and the game was competitive.Really well done!

So much style in that one!! I've always pondered on this concept and your execution far outclass mine, it's top notch and has a lot of potential!

Awesome game as expected! The vast variety of enemies you can possess adds a lot of depth to the game, with how each one has its strengths which can come in handy during specific encounters. I especially like the clever touch that the husk of the enemy you previously possessed explodes to hurt enemies! The presentation is on point, shooting and hitting enemies feels satisfying thanks to the tastefully excessive visual effects. The artstyle and perfectly fitted music makes this unrecognizable as something that was made in just two days! With that being said I did find the slow down after each kill to be irritating, especially with the emphasis towards dodging bullets in order to preserve the little health you have. The pause between enemy waves has also caused me some annoying deaths.

Stellar work! ;)
