How does your game fit the theme?
Reversed the idea of a pinball machine -- YOU'RE building the machine so the ball DOESN'T want the ball to go in the hole.

Incredible title screen. Decent tutorial level. All around fairly polished. But the game itself isn't particularly enjoyable for me. There isn't much variety in things you can do to build the level and what there is, is slow to get everything in place and then it's largely a physics crapshoot if you win or not. And if you lose, you have to slowly replace everything and hope it works out this time.
Not sure if godot has web build support but having to download is an annoying hurdle, I'm sure this would've popped off more if you could play in browser.
But, it's still a well made game worth giving a go, for the title screen if nothing else.
Very cool game! Fantastic art. I like that you can "cheat" by blocking the ball with your character. In some levels I wish there was more interactable components so I could try a bit more strategies, and the tiny balls felt very random and hard to defend properly against but other than that awesome game. Super creative idea! Also, very nice art and presentation in general! The reflection of the screen on the glass of the pinball table in the menu was great attention to detail!
I think the tutorial could have been extended slightly to explain that you had to fire all the balls and not run out of money. From the original tutorial text I thought we were just testing it and then “the user” would play the game after we were done, but I figured out I was wrong when the level didn’t end after the first successful ball. Also, the tutorial text was super cute, but I found it a bit hard to read. I think this has been mentioned already, but there is a glitch where whenever the level select loads “Splitting hairs” is selected, so I loaded that level by accident a couple of times.
Overall, super unique and well-executed entry! I hope you keep working on it!
Thanks for the extensive feedback! I really appreciate it. I think you're right, the first level could use some better explanations-- you make a great point. The font has already changed for the post jam update. And I'm really sorry about the Splitting Hairs selection, that was an unintended side-effect of a crash that I fixed right before the jam ended. I'm really glad you enjoyed playing!
I felt such a devilish joy when I figured out I could use my own body as an obstacle, like a malevolent little football spirit infecting the pinball machine.
Very smooth gameplay and as a pinball lover, love the take on the theme. Wad a great idea and execution! Well done! :)
This is unbelievable! I love everything about this. Not a single complaint. Reminds me a lot of Nitrome, I dont know whether they were an inspiration but they make games with a very similar style. Amazing job overall! There's no way you don't get featured!
Amazing game! I'm playing most of the Pinball inspired games (because my game is also pinball inspired) and yours is definitely on a completely different level. The art is amazing, the select screen is so pretty, and the gameplay is so fun but also challenging and the right amount of luck based. I'm amazed by the variety of mechanics and objects like logs, mushrooms, small balls, big balls, multiple balls, restoring the smashed item. I love how you can interact with the balls as well, for some reason I assumed you would be able to but it feels so nice. I would definitely buy this if it had more levels and maybe more story/lore, some achievements maybe. I also don't know why you only have 12 reviews it should have so much more! Seriously, congrats, I'm hoping for you to get an awesome classification!
Got a real banger here. Really fantastic work. The take on the theme is super unique, very creative. The artwork is beautiful, everything is super cohesive. Gameplay is super enjoyable, you managed to pack a lot of juice into the design, really feels like things punch. Great job all around, this could definitely be expanded upon into something more after the jam.
WOW! It's amazing. Art is good, music is great, fantastic idea. I bet, we'll see your game in GMTK vid:)
Wow, this feels like a complete game!
The animation, the visuals, the sound effects, the levels. Everything feels very polished. The character controls very nicely and the difficulty curve was on point. Well done!
Oooh! We played with the idea of a reverse pinball, but didn't really see how it would be interesting before we ditched it. Turning it into a puzzle game is really clever however! I also really like the setting, as I'm not really a fan of traditional pinball machines and their aesthetics. Also, don't you think I won't mention the mirror/reflection effect in the level select screen. I see you! Love it!
We wanted to make a pinball game but didn't think it was possible in 48 hours and couldn't think of how to make it "reversed"! Amazing job!
Loved it! Amazing work, animations and graphics are great, Idea and gameplay too! I wanted to let you know about this bug where you can play last level at any moment if you dont choose one yourself (Just now I noticed you aready know about it, sorry for spam) but other than that it feels like it would be a finished fully realesed game, very well polished!
I have no idea how you managed to do it in just 48 hours!
