Nicely executed! The visual is also very pleasing. Overall a fun game to play!

really cool concept

Developer

Thank you for giving it a go! :)

Well polished game, it took me several rounds before I understood exactly how best to approach the goal. Nice work with the music too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing our game! To be honest the best approach for me is to just be greedy while keeping the balance! :D

I liked it, gameplay might look simple, but if you remember agar.io type of games, then you'll realize that there is potential here in my opinion. Good job!

On a side note, i tried really hard to get both teams to lose all troops, but it seems like it's not going to be that simple, considering the AI is slow to react sometimes, but it's alright. Not sure if there is even an actual easter egg for making both teams lose.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing our game! Sadly I'm not familiar with agar.io, I'll look it up though. It's not possible for every race to die simultaneously! The goal of the game is just to be the last being standing while surviving as the player!

Submitted(+1)

This game looks nice and plays well! The gameplay is pretty basic, but it’s still fun to try and be the last one standing.

Developer

Thank you for trying it out! Yeah, it took some time to have the concept ready, so we didn't have enough time to implement more mechanics or levels as intended! Glad you enjoyed it though!

pretty cool game, the music is nice and the art is too

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try!

Cool idea! Though a bit hard to tell when to swap in the heat of the moment. Nice interpretation of the theme, very literal but still effective!

Developer

Hey! Thank your for playing and for the feedback! We tried to implement the roles reversed mechanic actively in an action game instead of a reversed game if that makes sense. So we ended up balancing an intergalactic battle! :D

Cool game, I like the aesthetic!

Thank you for giving it a go!

The swap with L seems a little uncomfortable. Maybe Q or E would be better. Also, enjoy the idea. Simple, but working. Especially how satisfying the attack sounds is. Good stuff.

Developer(+1)

Initially we were swapping with E, but then we realized that we wanted to move to the right and at the same time swap, but we couldn't because the finger is "occupied" by pressing the E. So, we made a quick last minute decision and added left-click or L for swapping. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I really liked the art style and the way you played on the theme. Rather than a complete role reversal, you kept it dynamic. Great work :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, we like creating action games that are a bit fast-paced, so the dynamic approach was preferred. It was cool that you noticed it, nice catch! Thank you for playing 😃

Cool game!  I think it was a great design decision to swap the player's health when you role swap; the resource management adds depth.

Developer

Swapping your health was one of the things we tried in order to balance the gameplay. Glad you liked it and thank you very much for trying it out!

Submitted(+1)

This was really cool. I'll be honest and say I didn't fully understand how to strategize swapping correctly but I I enjoyed it more and more as I played. a bit mind bending but cool! Solid job!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I get that strategizing the swaps can be a bit mind-bending, but we wanted this to be part of the fun hehe😁

very creative use of the theme, it would be cool if both factions had different attack types to add some variety to the gameplay, or like a different ability. Nice entry!

Developer

I agree that would be cool! Thank you trying it out!

Submitted(+1)

This is a cool, novel concept! It would be cool to see the idea with even more factions and different abilities at play. The difficulty balances out nicely because the player is encouraged to make the fight a close one. I think this idea is worth fleshing out!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! We wanted to add more factions but we would have to spend more time in balancing the gameplay, so we said "simplify" and moved on with just aliens and astronauts. But yeah, it would be really fun to have more variety!

Submitted(+1)

Simple idea, fun to play! Took a while to figure out a good strategy for winning the game, but it sure felt nice once victory was achieved. Cool game!

Developer

Thank you for checking it out! We appreciate the feedback as well

Amazing idea, and really fun to play. the dash feels just perfect.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a go! Did you prefer the dash with the purple alien or the one with orange astronaut?

Submitted

The orange one for sure, Its so smooth and satisfaying,

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be!
Very well made, polished game! Theme ties in nicely and is used frequently and as a core mechanic of the game. Beautiful :)

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback!🤗
We went through a bunch of different ideas before landing on this one. The theme for this year was a bit tricky, but we had fun building this game!
